At long last

"To be honest I've mostly only met Gryffindors," Wendy said with a shrug. "They had this huge party in the common room on the first day," she recalled out loud.

Wendy laughed lightly at Thomas' lack of creativity, or so he said, and when he was able to point out something she smiled. He couldn't see the smile because they were both looking up, but she laughed and said, "Yes I see it!" She was glad he was finally able to see something other than blobs. "I do this a lot, stare up at the clouds," she stated randomly.

"Yeah, I admit I know a few more Ravenclaws than any other house. Well now I've met my second Gryffindor." Thomas said happily. "Well that's at least one from each house." He added, hoping not to make Wendy feel bad.

Thomas put on his shocked face, "Aw you lucky duck. We didn't get a party. But the common room was pretty full after the feast, I suppose it was just a case of talk to whoever you want type thing." He said with a shrug and a small laugh. "What was the party like?" He asked.

Thomas was glad that Wendy had seen the same shape has him, "Oh, good," He said, "I'm not going mad then." He added with a laugh. "I can tell you do this a lot. You can definately tell that I can't." He added with a chuckle. "Although if we were to come out here at night, I could definately show you all the constellations." He said.

"You're the first Ravenclaw I've met I think," Wendy said out loud trying to recall if she had met any other Ravenclaws. She wondered who the first Gryffindor he met was but didn't ask because it didn't seem important.

She giggled when he called her a lucky duck for having a party and when he asked what it was like she smiled before saying, "It was lots of fun. There was food and everyone seemed to be having a good time talking. Though there's this older boy who didn't like me because I remind him of his sister," she added without thinking Thomas probably didn't even need to hear that.

When he mentioned coming out here at night she smiled to herself as she said, "Really? We should do that some time!" She hoped he hadn't been looking at her because she had been blushing. "You'll get better at noticing shapes in the clouds in no time," she said to him playfully. "It's just like finding shapes in the stars, which I find harder to do," she added.
