Thanks to his parents, Asparuh Zhefarovich the Fifth had been to many continents. Almost all of them. It was during the winter holidays when he asked his father to take him to the Americas to see if he could see any of his family members there. He knew of a few people, and how Light attended there once upon a time. Now, he timed it just right to where the Americans would be coming through the village before heading home. Asparuh also had another reason to come to the states. There was someone that he looked into contacting for a while. He had eyes and ears everywhere. The one person he had his eyes set on was none other than June Chase. She came from a family of Smiths and Chases, so that meant that her blood would be pure. It wasn't like he talked to her much though. It was hard to get in contact with someone like him, who attends Durmstrang Institute. He had to rely on his parents for funds and magic to travel to this location. But here he was. He had two hot cocoas in his hand, and one had June's name on it. His cup just had an A. He did not feel like berating the barista for misspelling his name.

It wasn't every day that someone told June she was expected, after all most people knew of her elder siblings, or even March who was far more sociable than she was. Of all of her siblings, June was the one most interested in Potions and she took that very seriously. Her mother complained to her often about how none of her siblings seemed interested enough to take over for the family once they graduated, but June remembered quite vividly sitting at her mother's side as she brewed away day and night. As such, it was not difficult to pin her down much when someone went looking for her, for the simple fact she was almost always in a potions lab of some variety. She'd never spent much time out of America though, because her mother rarely seemed to associate much with her side of the family anymore, but then, that was the kind of thing that was normal, so she'd heard, women in her family tended to marry into and then stay in the families they chose. It was the same for her Aunt too, when she'd married into another family. June didn't mind, but she also desperately wanted to travel. Her eyes locked on a boy she was passingly familiar with, mostly because it was hard not to be familiar with a name like his. Even if he didn't go to her school. "Asparuh, how thoughtful, thank you." She said, holding her hand out for the cup with her name on it. Of course, as was usual, it was somehow spelled J U I N E - she didn't think that was even a name. "Simplest of names, and still people can not spell it. Fascinating."

Asparuh nodded when June approached and handed her the cup, though it was just when she pointed out that they were incompetent to spell her name correctly. It was literally four letters, and the name of a month. How could they get that wrong? Asparuh sipped his drink and shook his head. They would absolutely butcher his name. "It will never cease to amaze me on how stupid people will be. Your name, the simplest of names, following a month, four letters. And they still misspell it. Ridiculous." Asparuh was curious if the place here was like that, or if it would be everywhere, when it came down to her name. He doubted it. Asparuh expected it for his name though. He decided to switch the topic before he would get agitated over humanity in general, "Your family's traditions. Are they going to try to set you up with an arranged marriage? I know my parents might look into it." Why they would wait this long was beyond him, but he was not going to roll over and not decide for himself. He knew that if he had kids, then he would not want to name a kid after him. But that might change when he actually got married. It might be easier than to possibly run into a name already in use for someone else in his family.
