Thanks to his parents, Asparuh Zhefarovich the Fifth had been to many continents. Almost all of them. It was during the winter holidays when he asked his father to take him to the Americas to see if he could see any of his family members there. He knew of a few people, and how Light attended there once upon a time. Now, he timed it just right to where the Americans would be coming through the village before heading home. Asparuh also had another reason to come to the states. There was someone that he looked into contacting for a while. He had eyes and ears everywhere. The one person he had his eyes set on was none other than June Chase. She came from a family of Smiths and Chases, so that meant that her blood would be pure. It wasn't like he talked to her much though. It was hard to get in contact with someone like him, who attends Durmstrang Institute. He had to rely on his parents for funds and magic to travel to this location. But here he was. He had two hot cocoas in his hand, and one had June's name on it. His cup just had an A. He did not feel like berating the barista for misspelling his name.​
