At last

At the last Valentines ball Olivia had made a fool if herself by kissing Maddie, who turned out to have a boyfriend. Somehow the two were now together and she could kiss her as much as she wanted without feeling guilty. Olivia had taken some time choosing her dress as she wanted to impress Maddie so when she was finished getting dressed she was happy with her outfit and was excited to meet her date. Olivia agreed to meet the Gryffindor just outside the Great hall so they could walk in together. The Ravenclaw waited for her date to arrive, though if anyone were to ask they were going as friends whoch Olivia wasn't keen on but she wanted to keep Maddie happy.

It was the most excited that Maddie had been about a school event in a while. The last Valentines Ball had been eventful. She had pretty much rejected the kiss that Olivia had sent her way last year, even though, what she wanted most in the world was to return it. However, she was with Felix at that point and Maddie had convinced herself that it was he, that she wanted. This time round it was completely different. Maddie was focused on Liv and she couldn't wait to spend the Valentines dance with her. Ever since coming back from Christmas, Maddie had found herself to be so much happier and it was all down to Olivia. The older Ravenclaw girl made Maddie so happy and made her feel wanted which was what Maddie needed at that moment, it was what she craved.

She made the finishing touches to her outfit and then made her way down to the Entrance Hall with butterflies in her stomach. It wasn't long before she found Olivia waiting close to the doors to the Great Hall, so Maddie sneaked up behind her and grabbed her around the waist and kissed her cheek. "You look so beautiful Liv!" she whispered into the Ravenclaw's ear. "I can't believe we're actually here together this year! We're going to have so much fun!" she exclaimed.

The longer Olivia waited the more nervous she became. Her short relationship with Maddie had made the happiest she had ever been but she always got the feeling Maddie was embarrassed about dating her and as a result kept things quiet. She was surprised that she had wanted to do something as public as going to the Valentines dance together. All her worries melted away when she felt a pair of arms around her waist and a familiar pair of lips on her cheek. Hearing Maddie's voice so close to her ear sent a shiver down her spine. She turned around so she could face her date, making sure not to knock the Gryffindor's arms from her waist. "You're looking pretty hot yourself Maddie," She smiled and after checking the coast was clear, planted a kiss on Maddie's lips. Olivia lingered as long as she dare before pulling away a little breathless. "You're right we are going to have fun, but it doesn't have to be in there,"
