Gabrielle Snow breathed out shakily and wrapped her arms around her thin stomach as she made her way through the deserted park. The sidewalk was damp with water because it had just rained that morning, thankfully Gabrielle was staying inside the inn when it was raining earlier. Since Gabrielle had given her old house to her brother when she moved in with Colton, and she hated him too much to ever want to live with him, she had nowhere else to go. Staying with the Lefevre's wouldn't work out either because she knew her mother was unhappy with her and going back while being broken up from Colton would only prove that Danielle was right and it would be rubbed in that she was right and Gabrielle had made the wrong decision. Alyssa and Vincent were expecting a baby and already had enough things on their mind so she didn't want to intrude on them either, even if Alyssa tried to convince Gabrielle that she and Vincent wouldn't mind at all. Then there was the Snow Family. They had multiple reasons as to why she couldn't be there but the biggest was Theodore and his reforms for the family, a lot of the family member's related to others he didn't approve of were getting sneered at and Gabrielle happened to be one of them, then again she had also done a lot of bad things to him on a personal level so she couldn't really blame him for being pissed off. The bottom line was that Gabrielle really had no place to go right now so she was stuck using her money to rent rooms in hotels and inns for the time being. She was supposed to be working so she could buy another apartment, but more bad luck hit her not long after she left and now she was stuck in a predicament. Being pregnant with nowhere to go really sucked. If she had known that that she was in that condition she might have been more choosy about being so cruel to Colton and pressuring him when it wasn't really her place. Things were just so messed up right now and Gabrielle completely blamed herself. Even though things were broken off between her and Colton, she was still very much in love with him. Gabrielle knew she shouldn't have pressured him. Gabrielle knew she would rather be with him and just be happy then not have him because he wasn't in love with her. Now her heart was broken and she wasn't sure if she could do this whole baby thing without him. Of course she expected the baby to not make it like all he others but it made her terribly sick during the whole process and she was used to his support. 'I've messed up so badly.' Last night she wrote such a heartbreaking and long letter to Colton, apologizing to him for what she had done, that she missed him and loved him so much. But he didn't respond. Was he really that upset with her? Probably, she most likely deserved it.

'This isn't fair.' Gabrielle breathed out and continued to walk through the park, the chilly air and dark clouds hovering overhead just for her, at least that was what it felt like. The morning had gone rough for her. Gabrielle ended up throwing everything she had eaten for breakfast and that was nothing but half a piece of toast and some orange juice. Colton would have made sure she had eaten a lot more for her and the baby but he wasn't here and Gabrielle wasn't in the mood for food. Her body felt tired and she also felt dizzy and just horribly sick but she needed some fresh air to clear her mind. Perhaps she could write another letter in hopes that Colton would get it, she wanted to tell him about the baby just in case, maybe it would help him forgive her. But if he didn't want to be with her or help her with this she couldn't make him. Gabrielle wouldn't make him. Gabrielle was used to being on her own and if she had to then she would brave this out on her own just like the old days, but she just missed him so much. Seeing a bench up ahead Gabrielle walked over to it and sat herself down. It wasn't wet like the ground was because of the large oak tree that sheltered it. Gabrielle felt like she was going to be sick again but she brushed it aside as she began to feel herself cry again. Her mother was right, this love business was nothing but a mess. Wiping her eyes Gabrielle froze when she saw a shadow begin to hover over her. Someone was there, actually it felt like a couple of people were there. The blonde slowly lifted her head and jumped immediately. What in the world?

The walk itself was not as bad as Kalif had first imagined it, but instead, he had fought with his wife over taking the walk to begin with while Kaleb was at home watching the children. Kalif hated going out in the sun, and though it had just rained a few moments ago, at least they had gotten some drinks while the walk was taken place. Kalif was drinking an unsweetened tea that was iced but he could not feel the coldness from the cup from his gloves. He did not enjoy walking out, but he really got tired of hearing Nicolette complain. Se eventually, and evidently, Kalif gave in. At least Nicolette seemed to be getting better with the injuries and all, from what it looked like at least. Kalif continued to walk, and he did not even notice a blonde sit down on the bench and was going to pass her on by however there was a tug on his arm, and he stopped because Nicolette just had to see who the blonde was. His onyx eyes went over to the figure on the bench, and she looked like a real mess. However, the interesting thing was, that was Gabrielle Snow, his half sister or something. All he knew was that they were related through Danielle. Kalif was going to pass her on however Nicolette hissed, "Talk to her." Kalif gave Nicolette the oddest look before he shook his head and practically said no without words, but she repeated what she said. Kalif rolled his eyes and turned to face Gabrielle on the bench. "What's wrong with you?" inquired Kalif coldly, figuring that she would have recognized him from being around Danielle sometimes. Kalif was clearly unhappy about talking to someone that was crying, but from the way it looked, she might even be pregnant, which was just a bad sign all together. She looked awful, however there was not an ounce of sympathy in his body.

<COLOR color="darkblue">Gabrielle didn't really know what to think or do about the two people that approached her. It felt odd for her because she sort of knew them both in some way or another. One of them was Kalif Styx, whom was related to Asparuh or her mother somehow. She remembered seeing him once or twice but she had never spoken to him before nor had she really ever gotten a good look at him. Nicolette on the other hand she knew on a more personal level. The woman was once Alphonse's advisor and they always fought with one another over the smallest things and once the fighting begun it was hard to keep either of them under control. Gabrielle had always thought of Nicolette to be a little bit insane, but according to her mother, some of the best female Death Eaters she had ever worked with were absolutely out of their mind. Baby blue eyes wavered and Gabrielle felt the urge to scoot away from them as they approached. Although she knew they were married, this was the first time she had ever seen them together and she had to admit, they already amused her. Kalif's height seemed endless and Gabrielle almost found it funny that Nicolette’s head only barely reached his shoulders yet she seemed to easily be able to boss him around, to some degree. Kalif asked Gabrielle what was wrong and for a moment all she did was stare at him. It was pretty obvious that Nicolette was making him do this by the way she hovered behind him, but Gabrielle wondered in the back of her mind why the man listened to her in the first place. Did he even really care himself or was he just humoring her? People like him for hard to read so she wasn’t sure what to think. Nicolette wasn’t much easier either though, mostly because the older woman’s eyes sort of unnerved her. They were just like a cat’s. The blonde bit her lip and looked down at her lap. Should she tell them what was going on and risk being judged harshly by them? What if they understood and were able to help her though? Because honestly, what could they possibly do to her that wasn’t worse than what was already going on? Being pregnant and homeless, and deeply in love with a man that probably hated her guts. Gabrielle couldn’t see much of a difference between her life and the loneliest man earth’s life. It was a horrible feeling and she wasn’t sure if she wanted to burden these people with her problems.

”I feel like such a fool. I thought....that Colton loved me like I love him, but when I asked, he didn’t say it. So...we broke up. And I really wish we hadn’t.” Gabrielle started to cry again and she wiped at her eyes before she looked up at Kalif and Nicolette. The first thing she was able to notice was Nicolette looking a way while make an ‘o’ with her mouth, it was clear to the blonde that the woman knew exactly what she was talking about. At least one of them had an idea but Gabrielle was sort of nervous about what Kalif would think. Men weren’t always understanding over this and she sort of knew the men from his family. Them and the word love weren’t exactly eye to eye. Her mother was married to the one probably most foreign to the idea of it. But she wasn’t even finished. So she hoped Nicolette and Kalif weren’t disappointed with her already. She still had quite a bit to tell them if they really wanted to know her situation. ”But I found out that I’m pregnant but he won’t even answer any of my apology letters so, I don’t even think he cares. I have nowhere to go and I just-I messed up so badly.” Gabrielle continued to tell them as she cried and sobbed like she was a little child. But could one blame her really. She lost the love of her life; she didn’t know what she was going to do about this baby. There was no place for her to go and she couldn’t even work with her being as sick as she was. Believe it or not she was lonely as hell right now. Gabrielle would give anything to be back in Colton’s arms once again. But she had messed up. ”You can stay wit-Oh um...excuse us for a moment!” Gabrielle watched as the smaller woman pulled Kalif over with her and began talking about something. It was loud enough for Gabrielle to hear too. ”Kalif! Let her stay with us! I don’t feel comfortable leaving the poor girl without someplace to stay!” Gabrielle had never realized how motherly Nicolette was.

Kalif honestly did not know what to think of his whatever-she-was sister. However his onyx black eyes stared at her intently, debating or not to even read what was going on in that mind of hers. He would prefer not to, but that was a different story. He did not want to know what she thought of him because he could really careless. He barely cared about the siblings that he had anyway. There were enough of them. He did not bother with half of the siblings he had because he had his own issues to deal with. Kalif wanted to go on and keep walking but Nicolette did not. He did not understand why this was so important, so she might be homeless but it was not his issue. He did not need to care about this girl and he did not need to care about someone that did not grow up around him. She seemed so young and all, she could handle on her own. And she was pregnant so he did not need some hormonal girl around him for more than what he wanted anyway. However her words were enough to make him coldly smirk at her problems, as they seemed more or less what he heard about in school. Common little teenagers that were in love and they fell apart. However he did not know if what she was saying was true, but he could not hear any lie in her voice. And she started to cry again. Kalif rolled his eyes and he uttered, "Stupid kids." He did not care on how cold he sounded because what he thought was true, and this probably would not have happened if she had not asked him. If Nicolette had asked him, he would not say anything either.

She continued on about being pregnant and that he won't answer to any of her letters. Kalif let out a sigh and he shrugged, "Maybe he isn't getting them. So, go back to his home and then deal with your issues there." Kalif was wanting to get on with his life and let her live her own because it did not concern him. She needed to be with the father of that child and that was that. Kalif wanted to turn and walk away but Nicolette seemed to think much differently. She did not seem to think that this was not their issue, and thought that they could do something about it. There was really nothing that she can do anyway. Or nothing that they could do. However Nicolette's words were something else, and when she said those first three words, he glared at her and then pulled him away to start talking about her possibly moving in with them. Kalif narrowed his eyes and he listened to what she had to say. Kalif retorted, "My house is not a daycare center. She is pregnant and an adult, so she should have to face her problems. Or send her back to her mother." Kalif was really firm about this, but then again, he did not want to hear Nicolette just fight and complain over it either. Standing there for a moment, just staring at her and seeing that she was hell bent on having her stay with them, Kalif knew that he would not hear the end of it until he eventually agreed to it. Kalif shook his head and he went to stand in front of Gabrielle. He stated coldly, even harsher of a tone because he was aggravated, "Get up, and come with us. Now." He had that one voice that when he gave an order, one should follow it.
