Landon was so close to delivering all of his roses, and he only had one more to go. He hadn't seen Aurora around too much, but at least knew that she was in Slytherin, and so surely she would be making her way down to the dungeons eventually to head back to her common room. He made the most of his time however, delivering some ingredients to the potions classroom before hanging around for Aurora. As he saw her turn the corner, he immediately stepped forward. "Aurora!" he exclaimed. "It's Aurora, right? How are you?"

It was not often that Aura had her nose in a book, but it just so happened that today was one of the days she did. Especially as it was heading towards the evening and she had a little more time to kill than normal since she had no other classes after her Muggle Studies one. So when someone shouted her name as she turned the corner she threw her book, and her hands, up in the air in shock. "AH!" She was surprised to see one of the professors practically skulking around like a weirdo. The juniors Herbology Professor weirdly. "Merlin, Sir, do you make it a habit to jump out at unsuspecting young girls who are trying to get to their dorms or am I just lucky today?"​

Landon frowned as he startled Aurora, making her drop her book. He immediately made to bend over and pick it up for her, and chuckled at her question. "Just lucky I guess!" he said, holding the book out to her to return it back. He reached into his basket and pulled out a yellow rose. "In fact, you're extra lucky today, as you have a rose." He held the rose out to her. It had a note attached, and Landon really hoped that she liked it. "Happy Valentine's Day!"

Aura shook her head as she reached out for the book the Professor had picked up for her and smiled at him. "Thanks Professor," she could have done it herself of course, but where would be the fun in that? She looked at the rose though when he presented it to her and frowned. Who was sending her a yellow rose? Better not be Dante. She touched it slowly and opened the note, scowling when she saw it. D!ck. She pulled out her wand and immediately cast a non-verbal incendio on it and watched it turn to ashes.​
