🌹 Rose Giving as fast as possible

It seemed to take an age before Jonah's delivery for the Hufflepuff Head of House ended, and he hadn't let go of Elijah for one second. He technically shouldn't even be stressed about it; he could see their dad sitting at the end of the table. He doesn't think he could be blamed, though, considering the Defense Against the Dark Arts professor liked to cast spells on students. But just in case, he thought it would be best to keep his head down while he gripped Elijah's sleeve tightly as they made their way down the table to @Professor Noel Waldgrave so he could deliver the man's red rose.​

Eli followed along with Jonah, just keeping him company and only speaking if spoken to. He didn't need to talk for Jonah, just be there if he was needed, more for emotional support, he thought.​

Noel had made his way to the staff table to get some food. He had seen students walking around with baskets of roses and it made him think of the time back when he was a student. He had been delivering roses himself and loved sending them. It was nice that students were still continuing this tradition. He noticed two students who he teached coming closer to the table. Giving them a friendly smile it seemed like they wanted to ask something or perhaps would there be a rose from Adorah for him? '' Hello there. Is there anything I can help you with?'' he asked the both and waiting for an reaction.

The professor giving a friendly smile did not help at all, Jonah knew what the professor was like in class. Not wanting to risk the man getting impatient or angry, especially with Elijah right beside him, Jonah quickly handed over the man's red rose and note, carefully placing it on the table and taking a step back.​

The professor watched the brothers, they were not talkative and and he had heard some noices from some of the second years that they didn't agree with some parts of his class. It was an subject which could be pretty dark obviously and not all fairy like charms was. Jonah looked at him like he was seeing his boggart or something, and Noel had no idea why nobody came to him if there was something they thought was wrong. He was open for conversations and criticial notes. But that always had to come with respect. '' Look at that, a rose.'' Noel said, since they were not. '' Thank you Jonah.'' he said with an friendly smile. But feeling like there was something wrong for sure. He was feeling an distance. But perhaps this was not the time to discuss that. He read the note to it and wasn't suprised when he saw the name of Adorah added to it. And gave an smile to Elijah, who seemed to come along.
