Bio: Growing up in a small town on the east coast of Aotearoa, Aroha had a somewhat sheltered life. Being the eldest, she quickly learned how to take care of herself and of her siblings. She feels a great deal of responsibility for them and does her best to be a good role model. Aroha has had a happy childhood so far, though she’s grown up with a modest amount of income. She had a good number of friends at primary school and looks forward to making more at Hogwarts.

Aroha's first year at Hogwarts was good for the most part, although she struggled to get anything good out of her wand. She went on many adventures, exploring the castle, and even tried out for the quidditch team (although she didn't make it on to it). She made some friends along the way, and found potions class in particular to be quite engrossing.​

Aroha had a decent second year, although once again she failed to make the team, whereas her friend Miro did. Eventually she got over it, although it was hard to deal with the rejection, and Aroha tried hard in other areas to show her competitive streak. She won the second year dueling tournament and did a good enough job in classes, especially potions, which continued to be her favourite.

Aroha's had a fairly uneventful year. She was once again disappointed by not making it onto the Gryffindor quidditch team, and she lost her only match at the dueling tournament. Despite the year's challenges, Aroha is determined to make her next year count.
