Benicio didn't know much about the next rose recipient other than that he played quidditch, so he could only hope that he'd be able to catch him on the pitch. The third year was relieved to see a bunch of people flying and running around the pitch, and he shielded his eyes to see if he could spot @Santiago Torres. He couldn't so he did the next best thing. "IS SANTIAGO HERE?" he yelled.

Santiago wanted to keep far far away from the castle today. With roses flying in all directions he didn't need to deal with seeing everyone getting flowers except for him. So when classes were over he made a beeline to the pitch to get some extra practice in. It felt good to hit things. He almost didn't hear it when someone shouted his name. He narrowed his eyes at the younger student and wondered if he was joking. But he landed a few feet away and approached skeptically. "That's me. What do you want?" he asked impatiently.

Is everyone grumpy today? Benicio thought to himself. It was beginning to put a damper on his own mood, but Benicio proceeded forward with his job. "I've got a yellow rose for you" he found it quickly and held it out to the Gryffindor. "And there's a note" he added, pointing to the piece of parchment attached to the stem.

You’re not as lame as everyone else is.

Santiago was speechless for a moment when the other boy said he had a rose for him. He eyed him warily to make sure this wasn't some kind of joke. "Ok." he said slowly as he took the flower and the note that went along with it. For a moment he was scared to read it as if that was when a bludger would come out of nowhere and smash into his head. Finally he did and he felt his ears get hot. It was just a yellow rose but it still made him feel...something. Quickly he cleared his throat. "Uh, thanks." he muttered, wanting to get back to practice so he didn't have to think about this right now.

"No problem" Benicio smiled, glad he'd made another successful delivery. He paused and then waved. "Ok, bye!" he turned around and jogged off to finish his work.
