Georgiana smiled as she ran her hands down the length of her dress smoothing it. It wasn't very fancy, but the only she wore last year had been just the same. She had chosen a white dress the previous year and now she opted for a nice deep blue for this year. Recently she has been into more and more blue things which of course her housemates didn't agree with but most people left her alone about it knowing she had an older boyfriend who was a beater. Thinking of Logan made her smile and she never realized that she did until her brother stopped her one day and asked what she was thinking about that made her smile so much. Logan and her never spent much time together as most boyfriends and girlfriends did. Sometimes they would just study or talk about a recent quidditch match, which also helped her learn more about the game that she played keeper for. The interesting little facts she picked up from him were always amusing and she enjoyed one and remembered most of them.

Of course it seemed he was only good for her, but considering he did most of her homework he wasn't the best guy out there. She did learn in class but she never enjoyed actually doing work. He did it for her and she copied the answers down in her own hand and really learned that way, a photographic memory of what she had written and the question. Georgiana felt bad that he help her this way but he never complain, and he had offered in the first place. Putting the last tiny flower in her hair she smiled at herself in the mirror. Dressing up was one every once in awhile and this time she had someone she wanted to look good for which was nice.

Taking the stairs she watched as other girls giggled as they were collected by their dates a smile on her face all ready to suprise Logan by beating him. She managed to get to the level where the Ravenclaw Tower connected to the rest of the school before he appeared it seemed and she stepped back from the crowd going down the stairs to wait for him to emerge. A smile was planted across Georgie's face as she looked over the railing and down at all the other students heading down to the Great Hall.

So here it was again, the Yule ball. There had only ever been one instance when Logan had had an actual date for the occasion and that had been in his first year when he had gone with Lily. Since then he had just met up with some friends there and have done with it. However this year was different, he had Georgie to go with and he was so excited about going to the ball with her. He may not have liked dancing a tall but he was looking forward to dancing with her if she wanted to do so. It was strange how much she had changed him, with out even realising she had. But it was a good change, they had made him a better more healthy person all in all. Instead of spending all of his time studying like he would usually do he was out with friends a lot more and he was still getting good grades. Sure they had gone down a grade but they were still good and it was worth it, he was a lot more happier now than he was back then and he had his girl friend to blame for that.

Finishing his hair and straitening his suit Logan smiled and began to walk out of his dorm and through the common room. He was not sure where exactly he was meeting Georgie but he assumed they would meet outside of the great hall, it seemed the most logical place to meet. As he stepped outside of he common room and out on the actual floor he smiled widely as he saw Georgiana waiting for him. "You look amazing." He said greeting her with a hug. He was glad that they were now able to walk down with each other, it meant they could have a bit of catch up time before they were in a crowded hall with loads of people talking around them

Georgiana smiled as she turned hearing Logan's voice above the rest of the voices on the stairs that seemed to make a dull humming sound in her ear. "You look extremely handsome," she told him returning the hug back to him. Georgiana looked down at her simple blue-purple dress and knew she wasn't going to compare to alot of the other girls who went tonight but this piece suited her in the age department. Though her brother told her she's been acting like a 4th year eversince she met Logan, not to mention also a Ravenclaw, minus the study habits. She always shrugged the comments off knowing her brother was upset they never saw each other much anymore. That was more his fault however, she always made more then enough time for him whenever he was free but it would be mostly spent looking for him as he never managed to read the meeting place right from their letters they sent.

"Do you think it does look nice?" She asked him her hands running down the dress again to smooth the wrinkles that weren't even there. It was becoming a habit of her's, now she had to look nice for someone she was more concscience of her apperance. Looking over his tuxido Georgie was envious of how easy the guys had it. Find a simple enough tux and they were good to go. Biting her lip she waited for his reply already guessing he would say so, though she hoped that he would add truth to whatever he was going to say. It was old and not the style but it was the one dress she managed to find that wasn't uncomfortable which was important to her.

Logan gave her a sweet smile as she complemented him. He liked to know she thought he looked nice, other than the Veela side of him he knew that she saw past that and saw him for what he really was. It was reassuring for him to know that bit of information. "Thanks." He said in return, although he liked complements he never really knew how to respond back to them when they were given. That was down to the fact that until recently he had never been around people enough to receive many complements and seeing as he was getting them a lot now, and not just of Georgie, he was having to figure out the best ways to respond. It took a whole lot of getting used to that was for certain.

He looked her up and down then bit his lower lip, taking a deep breath in a sensual sort of manner. "You look amazing. Seriously i feel like your the Veela here." He said giving her a kiss on the lips and looking in to her eyes. "Why do you not think you look nice?" He asked her wondering if that was why she had asked him. He couldn't see how she could not think she looked nice, she always did to him no matter what she was wearing, sweats or dresses. He didn't like the idea of Georgie putting herself down just because she was with him, he really didn't expect anything from her. He was not that sort of boy who expected their girl friend to put make up on and dress up all the time, he liked her to just be her and be comfortable about it.

Georgiana watched as he looked over her and felt like doing a spin for him but opted not too as there were many peopl roaming around them and she didn't want to hit anyone. Her cheeks burned at his response, she wasn't anywhere near being a veela but even being compared to being as beautiful was always nice. Most of the time she actually forgot he was part-veela, till he smiled then his beauty from the veela genes light up the room and she couldn't help but glance at him. Alot of times during dinner when she sat with her own table she would steal glances at him just to see if he was smiling or not. He never said anything so she figured he had noticed yet, which was good; her own little secret.

Though that wasn't what shocked her the most. His lips coming down on hers stunned her into silence. Her mouth was closed but it felt like it was wide open five stories or so. Georgiana had a light smile on her face but she was still in shock from his actions. She knew it was going to happen and she did want to kiss him but in the moment of being complimented and then kissed was just suprising. "Oh," she let out from her mouth, her hand already reaching up to her lips. Trying to shake it off as nothing, though she already put on a big show about it she told him her reason for asking. "It's an old style of dress, I wasn't sure if it would still look good or not," she told him her hand moving back down to her side.

A he watched Georgies reaction to his kiss he couldn't help but feel like he had been kicked in the gut. It had not really been the reaction he had been expecting and he couldnt help but put it down to himself. He she not wanted him to kiss her, did she not like him enough, did he do something wrong. They were only a few question going through his head as he looked down at the floor in embarrassment, suddenly feeling left out. "Sorry." He mumbled quietly wishing he had not kissed her now. "It looks fine i promise." He said still in a quiet tone as he looked up at her slightly. He was not an expert on dressed or been fashion for that matter but he knew when someone looked nice in what ever it was they were wearing and she did look nice in the dress she had picked out to wear tonight. He was just glad the dressing up was so easy for him, just find a good suit and that was it, done. Girls he knew could be so much more fussy and obsessed about such a thing, he couldn't understand why they were like that though.

Georgiana felt bad for the way she had reacted, it was more out of shock that he actuallu did kiss her. She knew he was shy and hadn't dated many girls before her, so him actually kissing her was alittle suprising considering they barely showed much affection to each other in the first place. That fact was mostly her fault however, as growing up she never managed to get much affection from her father or siblings and she didn't know how to display her emotions to others now. Reaching out she put her hands on his arms taking a hold of his jacket a smile on her face. "Oh, Logan it's fine, you just suprised me, that's all," she told him wondering if he even realized it was her first kiss with a guy. She bite her lip looking around nodding to what he told her. He was sweet, she knew she was lucky to have him. "Would you like to head down to the dance now?" Georgie asked him her hands moving back to her side though she kept one out from him to hold as they walked down the stairs.

Her words did help at putting his mind to rest a little bit but now he was just kicking himself for thinking the worst about such a small thing. It was very unlike him to do such a thing but he had changed quite a lot quite quickly so not even he could expect some of the things that he did. It was strange not knowing yourself. "Oh well um sorry for surprising you like that." He said rubbing the back of his neck awkwardly as he stood in his suit, a clothing item which he felt silly wearing, it was so smart and well normal he felt out of place in it. It clashed with his personality. "Yeah that would be great." Logan answered standing back up strait once again. He had been put in a bit of a sensitive mood now but more sensitive for her than himself

Georgiana smiled at him trying to reassure him everything was good. Though she felt alittle out of place, it had been her first kiss and she didn't really know what to say. Georgie wasn't sure if he knew it was her first but if he hadn't know he could put two and two together and figured it out, he was smart afterall. At his reply to her question she took his hand with hers, though the size difference made her's practically disappear in his; and she took to the stairs tugging him along. She was excited for the Yule Ball this year, she had a real date so she wasn't going to be left alone and watching the other couples dance and try to make small talk with students she didn't know. That was reassuring enough to her that she felt calm after being so flustered by Logan's kiss, glancing at him she knew she'd have to repay him in the same way some time so he wouldn't worry to much about it. Her mind was going off in it's different directions, one worrying about her dress, another about Kayden, a part of her wondering what Logan was thinking now he seemed so awkward and she knew it was her fault. The part of her that she was most ashamed of was where she wondered how girls he had kissed before her. The thought made her cheeks turn pink in embarrasment while her lungs filled with jealousy at the thought. The outside appreance displayed none of these thoughts besides her cheeks turning pink but that could be explained with any number of excuses. "Well here we are, Handsome," she said to him when they reached the ground a cheeky grin on her face she leaned on him holding his arm close to her with both her hands while she looked up at him.
