Alyssa lightly stepped through the snow towards the dark forest. Her boots barely sunk into the soft freshly fallen snow as she tried to keep her balance from falling over. It was quiet and dark, which Alyssa always figured was the best time for wandering around the Forest. Alyssa had been in the Forest so many times during the year that she no longer feared it. She sometimes now found herself wandering to the forest just to be away from everyone.
Once Alyssa had reached the forest she clicked the snow off of her boots on a large rock then continued to make her way through the forest.
