An unwanted Discovery

Samson waited about as patiently as he could for the man to get his finger out and sort out a portkey. What was the point of having the body remain here on the cold ground? He had to refrain from glowering at the man. There was nothing Samson could do for Scott Anderson other than get him to St. Mungo's now and do up a report that he knew the ministry would be expecting. With his daughters arrival at least he felt more assured that something would get done. The man before him seemed now only intent on shouting at the hoard instead of answering any of his questions.

Exasperated Samson stood up from the body and summoned a tin can that had been on the ground and created a portkey himself.
"Do what you will with the crowd man but his body is being brought to St. Mungo's now. If you have a problem with it you'll have to take it up with your superiors but considering just who this man is, that might be difficult. Send someone over to the hospital when you can spare one of your men" bending down and moving Scott's lifeless hand to touch the can he indicated for Corinne to do the same. A slight crack and the three of them left the scene arriving at the hospital. Samson took immediate charge barking orders to have the body taken to the coroners room for examination. It was going to be a very long night.

Corinne did as her father asked, touching the can and waiting until her father had settled the dead man's hand against it as well. The last few days had been grueling in the extreme and as exhausted as she thought she was before this discovery, she was well aware that the long night ahead of her now would make her more so.

Once they arrived at the hospital, her father took charge. She removed her robe and passed it to the receptionist before following her father to the examination room. Taking down some fresh healers robes and tying them about her before scourgifying her hands thoroughly. With one look at her father and then at the body, they set to work trying to ascertain just what had befallen the man.

Watson didn't choose to exchange words with the Healer of St-Mungo's. He simply nodded - nodding was enough to answer what the man had said to him. Pushing some of the gathering of people back, Watson took glance around the area. He looked up to the sky, about to remove the mark that was there, however it seemed to have been done already. Nodding his head, Watson tended back to the issue at hand; the Media.
