Theo and Miles had decided to continue the unofficial Quidditch club. The turnout of last year's sign-ups had done well, despite Vex's appearance. They had managed to set everything up for this year's ups and hoped that they'd get the same amount of attention they did last year, or maybe even more. Theo stood in the entrance hall, clipboard with sign up sheets in hand and a sign in the other, as he tried to get attention. The boy had made sure to put posters up around the castle as well to hopefully let more people know about the unofficial club. "Interested in Quidditch?! We have an unofficial Quidditch right here! Sign up if you're interested!" Theo had called up, as he waved his sign around, hoping to get a few people to sign up. He repeated this a few times throughout. "Share your tips and tricks! Discuss the cool sport! The unofficial Quidditch Club is all for that!" Theo also called out, as he continued to wave his sign. He ignored a few of the strange looks by people walking by, but Theo didn't care, he was interested in the unofficial club that he and Miles had decided to put together. The posters he had used and put up weren't the greatest of artwork, but he hoped it was good enough to get the attention of some interested students.

OOCOut of Character:

Theo and Miles are back with another unofficial quidditch club sign ups! Last year, they had decided to make an unofficial quidditch club when they found out there wasn't a quidditch club when they arrived at Hogwarts. Those who signed up last year are still in the club ofc! Apologies for no follow up meeting last ic year, life and muse got in the way! If you are curious about what last years sign ups were like, you can find it here! If your character is interested to join the unofficial club this year, should post below! Follow up meeting for the unofficial club should be further into the semester!

Chase loved Quidditch... but he was sadly too young to join an official team, they had decidedly not wanted him to even tryout! He had sadly walked away from the Quidditch Pitch, and now he was walking through the Great Hall, and he heard somebody yelling about an unofficial Quidditch club?! He ran over to them, his excitement hitting an all time high and he was practically bouncing up and down when his mouth opened and a jumble of words came out, "HEYILOVEQUIDDITCHBUTIWASN'TALLOWEDTOTRYOUTFORATEAMCANIJOINYOURCLUB??" He practically shouted, not even realising how little sense that made, and decidedly still jumping around.

Miles was buzzing with excitement as he headed down to the Entrance Hall, a pile of filers in his hand after he had spent all morning trying to pin them up all over the school. After all, he wanted as many sign-ups as possible, so for that he needed to try and get people's attention in any way possible. Which meant putting up as many posters and fliers as he could possibly manage in every inch of blank wall. He'd gotten a bit carried away, losing track of time ever so slightly as he hurried down to meet up with Theo. "Sorry I'm late!" He announced as he arrived, a big grin on his face and only slightly out of breath. Though it seemed he had arrived just in time as a younger boy came up to them, and Miles was pretty sure he was asking about joining. "Anyone can join! If you want to just jot your name down on the list."

Well, Lewis didn't know how his roommate wasn't allowed to try out, since he'd been allowed. He hadn't made it onto the team, but he hadn't expected to as a first year anyway. Chase clearly wasn't very good, if he hadn't even been allowed, they obviously saw Lewis' potential if they had allowed him and not Chase. Good, he hoped it stayed that way. "Can I join as well? What do you do, do you actually play quidditch? My mum is a coach!" He would have to tell his kaachan about this. She would be very amused, he thought.

Tess was a little disappointed about not making the quidditch team, and she really needed something to try and distract herself from it. Something that wasn't classes either, as Tess was really not looking forward to those. When she saw posters around the castle about the unofficial Quidditch club, made by someone who clearly didn't know anything about graphic design, she knew it would be perfect for her. And they could also probably do with someone who could help them decorate those posters properly. The Gryffindor made her way to the Entrance Hall and was quick to approach Theodore and the other boys. As Tess heard one of them mention that his mother was a coach, Tess gasped. "My mum is a coach too!" she exclaimed, very excited. She turned to Theodore. "Can I please write my name down? Please!?"

Theo grinned as a younger boy had appeared, what felt like out of thin air, as he excitedly shouted about joining the club, and the Ravenclaw grinned a lot more when his friend had joined. He quickly nodded and pointed to Miles. "Yup! What he said! You can sign up here" Theo says happily as he passes the sign up sheet towards the younger boy. @Chase Edwards It wasn't long before a couple of other students had arrived and his jaw dropped when the two other students had stated their parents were quidditch coaches. "Woah really?! What teams do they coach?" Theo grinned excitedly, as he was happy to know more. @Lewis Edogawa @Tessaria Carter

Chase cheered, quite loudly, when the organisers said he was more than welcome to sign up and he quickly grabbed the pen and, still bouncing, signed something that he was only 50% sure was legible. "WHENDOWESTART??" Chase asked, once again too quickly. Then his jaw dropped when he heard not one, but two (!), people say that their parents were Quidditch coaches. "WHAT?!" He bellowed, somehow not hearing that his voice echoed a little bit due to the volume. "That is so cool?!?!?! My parents are soooo boring!" Chase said, not that he really knew or cared what his parents did. They didn't even want anything to do with him, and he repaid that sentiment by badmouthing them any and every chance he got.

Tess was quick to answer Theodore's question. "The Wollongong Warriors! They're the Australian team." she said matter-of-factly, happy that Theodore found this interesting about her. A younger Gryffindor also found this intriguing and Tess smiled at him. "I'm sure your parents aren't boring. Everyone has their own perks." She was sure this was something her father would say. "So, can I please sign up?" she asked, turning back to Theodore.

@Theodore Harper @Chase Edwards

"My mum coaches the Tengu!" He wondered if he should mention half of his family were Quidditch famous, but he didn't want to press his advantage too much at this stage. "Your mum is Georgiana Night?!" He asked the girl who said her mum Coached the Warriors. "Wow! She's my second favourite after my mum of course. And I love the Warriors too! Kira Borisyuk is soooo cool right?" He wanted her autograph so badly, he was going to have to ask the girl if she knew her one day and if she could get him an autograph. "My Dad is a Professor here, so I don't know if that would qualify as cool or boring," he said when he looked at Chase. The boy was so loud, wow.

Lady Claudia had said Quidditch was "buffoonery and barbarism". Naturally, this had made Tarquin rather curious to actually understand what it was and why it was so appealing. What she didn't know wouldn't harm her. He didn't have a broom, and he'd gathered bits of it from magazines and shop signs, so it wasn't a promising start, but perhaps the other students could enlighten him. However, as he approached he heard two others brag about their parental connections to the sport, and his expression immediately soured. "So your parents are coaches? Okay, but are you any good?" he asked in a rather haughty manner, a disdainful expression crossing his features.
