If anyone that knew Brodie Fudge could see him right now they would say he looked rather uncomfortable, and that would be an understatement. It wasn't often that Brodie entered the muggle world if at all really, and if it weren't for the damn cat that he adored so much he wouldn't. He had wanted Aeon to come with him on this shopping trip as he had more experiences with muggle money, but his boyfriend had had to work, and he didn't really like the cat all that much to begin with. Brodie kept his wand hand balled in a fist tightly the entire time he was in the giant muggle pet store. His wand was tucked safely away in his jacket, but the urge to have it in his hands at all times was very strong today. Once he had crossed off everything on his list Brodie hesitantly made his way to the front check out. After the woman scanned his items, and told him his total he asked if he would be paying with cash or debit. Brodie stared at her blankly wondering what on earth debit was before pulling out the few muggle bills he had. "Cash. I think this should be enough." Brodie told her as she shoved the bills into her hands. The woman raised an eyebrow, but counted out his change, and handed it back to him. Brodie quickly scooped up his cash, and bags, and left the shop quickly and silently.

After that exhausting experience Brodie decided he needed a snack, and a coffee. He walked down the street until he found the first cafe, and quickly took a seat at one of their outdoor tables. Soon enough a waitress came, and took his order, and he was alone again. Brodie looked around to see if there was any kids around before pulling out his pack of smokes and lighting one up. Finally he was starting to calm down.

Like always, Tris Pierce was alone as the day progressed into its usual lull. Tris had the day off from the vet clinic and he even remembered thanking his colleague for not minding. With all the people in the clinic, Tristan never really got along with a few of them. The rest were great and some were even some drinking buddies of his that invited him along almost twice a week for some happy hours. Tristan was only feeling a little lonely lately but he denied that he should have a change of personality and be more outgoing. He knew that it was one of his days wherein he wanted to make more friends or even just acquaintances and through time, he will get used to the usual loneliness he felt. Tristan was most of the time alone when he was sober and normally he did not dislike being that kind of person. However it was just recently his mind tried pushing himself to approach people first. Tristan was not a glorious speaker especially with no kick of alcohol in his system, so keeping to himself had become a habit.

He strolled along the muggle town, careful to avoid bumping into any muggle. In his mind he compared the differences between muggle and magical towns and Tris was not so sure which was better. He was a muggleborn, which meant the culture of the muggles never escaped his liking most of the time. Tris even passed a pet shop that offered different muggle products for animals. He looked at it from the outside and continued his path, wondering how many people were out to either buy things for their pets or a buy the pet itself. It was a nice day and the company of an animal never killed no one.

He came to a quaintly made cafe and its homey atmosphere enticed him to it. Tristan made eye contact with a waitress and smiled at her, for her to acknowledge their brand new customer. He took an empty table that was outside and crossed his legs the manly way. He only wanted some tea and after his tea he was sure to be off. Tristan gave the waitress his order when she arrived and when she walked away, he looked around. Tris' eyes almost zoomed in one this one man who was holding a cig, particularly something Tris had been craving for the entire day. He blinked at the man, feeling certain he knew him. When he caught the man's name, he breathed in deeply and decided to rather greet him politely with a short intro. "Hey man, do you have another one?" queried Tris, referring to the cigarette. He smiled his simplest smile and decided how to acknowledge the fact that he knew this man. Swiftly, he decided to go with the lamest greeting the universe was yet to hear. "I am starting to believe you don't know me. Tristan Pierce; we met a year or so ago in an event. I think we even smoked with each other before. We finished the pack if I remember correctly." Tristan held his hand out far enough for the Brodie Fudge to shake it, hoping that indeed his memory did not exactly erase their smoking session together a long time ago.
