Some Mood Music

Even though she was a second year now, Lucia still felt completely new to the school. She wouldn't say she was having trouble adjusting, but she did feel like she needed to make more of an effort. Last year she had gone as a cheerleader to the Halloween carnival and she'd quickly seen how elaborate some of the costumes could get so this year she wanted to do something better. She'd found a cheetah print jumpsuit with a matching headband and tail and she thought it was so cute, even if it was another one of those basic Halloween costumes like the one she'd worn last year. Still, she liked her costume and at least it looked like she'd tried more than with the cheerleading outfit she wore last year. Once she had finished painting on a nose and some whiskers, Lucy made her way up to the great hall. She marveled at everything around the hall that wasn't there hours before, and decided to wait in line to enter the spooky tent. At first she kept thinking someone was tapping her from behind but it was just her tail bobbing into her every time she walked, and the feeling of constantly looking over her shoulder didn't help if she was about to enter a haunted house!​
