Cullen stood just outside the Great Hall. He was waiting for Corrine, he couldn't wait to see how pretty she looked tonight. She always was beautiful but for the dances seeing her dressed up he always thought she looked the best of all the girls. He'd been toying with an idea for a month or so now and hoped she'd be up for it. He wanted to visit her again during this break but he'd been so nervous to ask about visiting he saved and waited to do it till tonight. It was his last chance otherwise he thought his plans might be ruined. They'd been together for quite sometime but the time made no difference to his nerves. He stood at the bottom of the stairs glad he had made it down from the Ravenclaw tower before Corrine came from her house. He knew he over thought everything but he was curious with school ending if Corrine thought they might be soulmates or thought they should end their relationship as school ends. He thought it might be the first right now, but she could always change her mind which is something that made Cullen nervous. He never wanted her to feel pressured even though he could hear his parents asking about their future and pressuring him to make the right decisions regarding her.

Corrine took one last look in the mirror, added another layer of lipstick and then smiled at her reflection. She had always enjoyed dressing up for this event, but this was her very favorite dress of them all. Gryffindor red and flowy. The teenager liked how the color brought out the blue in her eyes. Knowing that she needed to get going, the Gryffindor grabbed her clutch and then headed out. It was slow going because she'd left with the rush, girls with much higher heels taking their time on the steps. With her kitten heel, Corrine didn't have that same trouble and she moved around a group of girls as she made her way down the final steps, spotting Cullen easily. Her grin widened as it usually did when she spotted him. Corrine moved right in front of him, her arms wrapping around his neck, finding their usual position. "Hi" she grinned, looking up at him. She was eager to enjoy this night with him, their final Yule ball. Corrine still couldn't believe it, still had no idea how she was going to manage once school wasn't what she needed to focus on. Still wasn't sure what her plans were. Her parents kept hinting at wanting her to return home, speaking about the many job opportunities. Her sister kept hinting at hoping she'd find her own place. It was a lot to think about, but when she was with Cullen it was easy to not worry about those things. "Let's dance, yea?" she asked, giving him a quick peck on the lips before reaching for his hand and giving a small tug.

Cullen spotted Corrine through the crowd and his smile grew larger on his face. She was absolutely stunning tonight. All his nerves went out the window as his focus became solely on her. Talking about break and future things could happen after they caught up. But he barely had time to catch up with the motion that she was with him before she was pulling him inside. He enjoyed the moment however and let her pull him out to the dance floor. They danced for awhile laughing mostly at himself and the silly dance moves he came up with for the fast pace songs. "You want drink?" He asked at one point wondering if they should take part in the snack table as he glanced over towards the table filled with yummy treats and drinks. "I also want to ask about visiting you during break," Cullen said unsure what her reaction would be. He knew she might already be busy which would be fine but it'd be nice to fully meet her family as her official boyfriend at some point.
