All dressed up for what?

Jade came to the ball, even though she didn't have a date. In her new black dress, she entered, to see quite a few people already gathered and listening to Professor Zhefarovich at the top of the main podium. The speech wasn't that fun so she turned away. On a table she saw some snacks, and went to get some. She took a couple of cherries, and popped them in her mouth. She savoured the taste, as there wasn't much else she could do. If she wasn't going to dance, there was pretty much no point in coming. Looking around she hoped someone kind might come and dance with her.

If no-one was going to dance with her, Jade would dance by herself. Too bad nobody deserved to dance with such a good dancer as Jade. She went up onto the floor where some other couples where dancing. She imagined dancing with someone else, and moved to the beat as it changed.

 

[Alexander Fields]

Alex walked back into the ball, he had promised Maddiie, that he was going to have at least one dance with Jade seeing as she had no one, looking around the great hall he finally found her and made his way over to her. " Could I have the pleasure to have this dance with you." He said with a smile on his face as he got up close to her.

Jade was getting a bit bored at this point, and got pleasantly surprised when Alex came up to her "Of course you may!" She smiled and gave him her hand.
