Yellow Rose for @Tilly Drage

The next name on his list was one Isaiah easily recognized. It was hard not to, the girl was a menace on the pitch and as a beater himself he could do nothing but admire that. It seemed naive to think he would actually find her at the pitch but it was the next stop on his walk along the grounds so he went there anyways. After calling out a few of the names on his list it seemed clear that none of them were around and Zay decided to take a break, sitting down on the grass of the pitch and plucking at the grass a little as he enjoyed the sun. He was distracted when he noticed a familiar figure walking by far from where he was sitting and quickly jumped up, dashing over to her before she could disappear. "TILLY, HOLD UP!"

Tilly had prepared herself for practice, tying her hair back, slipping into her gear, and carrying her beloved bat. As old and rough as her beater’s bat was, it was dependable and sturdy. A new and shiny bat would never compare to her hand-me-down from Uncle Sumner. She walked onto the pitch, determined to go to the shed and face off against two bludgers.

She turned when a shout reached her ears. She recognized Isaiah, a beater from the Gryffindor team. Tilly smirked. “What, you want to face off before the game?” she suggested, not realizing why he was approaching her in the first place.

Isaiah laughed at Tilly's response, quickly shaking his head. In no way would he be keen to square up to Tilly one on one. Mostly because he was sure she'd have him knocked out before his bat had even touched a bludger. "No ma'am." Zay grinned. "Got a rose for you, actually." He added, looking at his bunch to make sure he picked out the one with the right note and held it out for her to take. "Here you go!"

Tilly
Thanks for showing me the ropes. Go Hufflepuff!
-René

Tilly laughed when Isaiah didn’t take her up on her offer. “Too bad,” she chided. Her smile widened when she saw the rose, although she felt awful all over again. Rose giving had completely skipped her mine. It was always awkward to receive, but not give, roses. The Hufflepuff opened the note and smiled wider. Rene was sweet. Too bad he was relegated to being keeper this year; he had proven to be a great beater. “Thanks, Isaiah,” Tilly said after a moment, wondering how she was going to protect the rose while she practiced.
