Closed A Summer Dive

With it being January in New Zealand, the weather was nice and sunny. Louis had spent Christmas in France, so after the winter weather over there it was a nice change. He had been happy to return to Hogwarts, but it was pretty boring to stay cooped up inside. Louis had seen the nice weather outside, had changed into his swimmin trunks and a shirt and was now running towards the lake on bare feet. He laughed as he jumped into the water, barely stopping his run. The water was pretty chilly, but it wasn't so bad. Louis emerged from the water and grinned, looking around. Surely there were more people hanging out at the lake with such nice weather.

Nolan had always enjoyed the New Zealand weather compared to the Ireland weather. The day had been pretty hot for the Irish boy so the boy decided to change into swimming shorts, wanting to have a cool down at the lake. Hoping that the water would be a little cool. The boy hurriedly made his way down to the lake, wasting no time trying to get into the nice lake with a towel in hand. When the boy reached the lake, Nolan dropped his towel quickly on the nearest rock before doing a huge cannonball into the lake. "CANNNOOONNN BALLLL" Nolan yells as he cannonballs into the lake, not realising that there was someone nearby.

Sorry for taking a while!

Louis laughed as he heard someone yelling and watched as the boy jumped into the lake, shielding his face against the splashing water. Louis swam a bit closer, grinning at Nolan as he surfaced. "Seems like we had the same idea." He said, running a hand through his hair. The water wasn't too deep here and his shoulders were getting a bit chilly in the cold air, but it didn't bother him much. He didn't really know Nolan that well, but he seemed nice. He was also cute, something Louis had noticed in class a few times. He hoped the Hufflepuff wasn't opposed to his company.

Nolan whipped around when he had heard a voice, unaware of the presence of someone nearby. The Hufflepuff boy blushed a bit of embarrassment. "I guess we did," Nolan says with a chuckle and nod. Nolan liked the cold water that was against his skin. It was quite refreshing, especially with today's weather. He thought that the boy near him was cute. He didn't know why he felt that way though. He felt a bit strange thinking that the boy was cute. But he shook that out of his thoughts and decided to splash the boy with the water. "Splash attack!"

Louis noticed the blush on Nolan's face, glad to have caught him by surprise. He swam a bit closer, trying to think of something clever and witty to say. Maybe something to make him laugh, or blush more. But before he could do as much as open his mouth, Nolan yelled splash attack and splashed Louis with water. He laughed, moving back a bit. "Hey, no fair!" He said, then grinned. "Wanna see a real splash attack?" He asked, lunging at him and splashing as much water in his direction as he could manage.
