A Serious Talk

[Larissa Sedgwick]

Larissa strode into the Great Hall, but her anger was not at Napolde herself but at her father.
"Napolde," Larissa said calmly, "Can I have a word?" She indicated the door to the Great Hall.

Napolde wondered what she'd done wrong this time, but smiled sweetly anyway. "Sure" she said, taking a seat inside the great hall at the Ravenclaw table. "What is it?"

Larissa hesitated, cast a dark look at a Hufflepuff who was listening intently and sat down beside Napolde.
"I've just heard," Larissa said, "That my father was not killed by a werewolf." She chose not to say Davmorn's name in front of all these Ravenclaws.
"I've just heard that he was murdered by an auror.. An auror who was a good friend of my mother.."

Napolde looked at Larissa. "My father killed yours." she sussed. She looked away, "and what do you want me to do about that?" she asked, glaring at the staring hufflepuff.

"Nothing," Larissa said and strangely her tone was light and pleasant, "My father was a good-for-nothing muggle lover... I had planned to avenge my father's death but I see that is not right. I will send a message as soon as possible to the Ministry." Larissa's eyes were cold but foccussed on Napolde, "Naturally, I hold nothing against you. I will inform the Ministry of the fact it was a wrong place wrong time matter and that no child should live fatherless unless they choose to." Larissa's gaze softened slightly.

 

[Napolde Amandil]

Napolde listened. "No, they shouldn't" she said simply. "Is that all?" she asked impatiently. She wanted to get going or she might be late.

 

[Larissa Sedgwick]

Larissa watched Napolde fidget as though she would be late.
"That's all." Larissa said calmly before shooting another dark look at the Hufflepuff and walking to the common room.

"Good" she said quickly, before getting up, throwing her bag over her shoulder and running back outside.
