Lucy was trying to find everyone now - all the recipients for the roses assigned to her. It was a bit of a mission, to be tasked with finding people, but eventually she happened across someone she needed to meet. "Hi! Ambrose!" she called out across the hallway, her basket of roses jostling as she half-ran towards the boy in question. "I have something for you," she said as she caught up, a little out of breath.

@Ambrose Webb

Ambrose had been quite intrigued to see all of the rose deliveries happening around him yet was surprised when someone called out to him from across the hall. He grinned at Lucy as she headed his way, almost feeling like he needed to be frozen in place so she wouldn't accidentally lose sight of him. "Hey, Lucy." He greeted his fellow chaser with a laugh when she finally reached it. "Cool!" Ambrose added, trying to contain his excitement about someone sending him a rose.

Lucy smiled. She liked her fellow teammates; they were generally decent people who were friendly. "How was break by the way?" she asked curiously, retrieving a yellow rose and a note with it and handing it over. "Happy valentine's day!" she said as she handed it over.

Ambrose, let's hang out again sometime soon. ~Sunday

Ambrose shrugged when Lucy asked him about his break, wondering how honest he could be but deciding not to just throw stuff her way. "Yeah, uh, it was fine. Yours?" He responded with an attempt at a smile that turned genuine when she handed him the rose. "Thanks." He added before quickly scanning the note, now even more glad he had decided to send Sunday a rose himself.

"Oh, that's good," Lucy said in response, "my break was pretty good. No complaints." She truthfully did have a decent enough break, but to say she had no complaints was a lie. But she wasn't about to vent in a situation like this - on a day like this. Valentine's day was about good vibes, that was Lucy's principle. "Got some quidditch practice in, even. So hopefully we can smash Gryffindor." Lucy slapped a clenched fist against her palm in a horizontal fashion, then smiled, thinking she probably looked silly doing so.
