A rose stop on the way to breakfast

Selene looked at her list of roses. She had such a colourful bunch this year. Last year most of them had been yellow with only one or two in the other colours. There weren’t many names she recognised thankfully she had managed to get a copy of the previous yearbook so she could track down everyone who wasn’t a first year. Th e fist name she had was a hufflepuff prefect. She decided to wait outside the fourth floor hoping to catch her sister leaving the house for breakfast and ask her if the prefect was there. It was weird she had hardly been waiting for two minutes before her sister appeared and it seemed she had hardly seen her sister vanish before she reappeared. And said Analei was on her way. How was that for perfect timing. When the girl appeared she smiled. analei. Sorry it’s early but I have a rose for you. she said.

Analei yawned as she walked through the Common Room doors, but smiled at the young girl that greeted with her. "That's okay, thank you."

Selene smiled as the girl emerged from the common room looking half asleep. i won’t keep you from your tea too long it’s a yellow one. she said producing a yellow rose with a note attached.
