A Rose in the morning

This was the last rose she had to deliver and it was to a Slytherin girl. Elly didn't even want to know how to get in there. Maybe it was slaughtering some animal and offer its blood to the entrance door. Elly shrugged and waited for this girl Hayley to come out. She was sure she heard the name before, she didn't know from what. ''Eh'' Elly paused ''Are you miss Elridge?'' Elly hoped that she got the right girl in front of her.

People didn't seem to like coming into the Slytherin common room, not that Hayley blamed them. She'd seen a fair few people hanging nervously around the entrance to deliver roses, so that was no surprise. The fact that this stranger seemed to recognise her, and get her name right immediately, was a surprise, though. "Yeah, I'm Hayley Elridge. Did you want something?"

Elly still couldn't get around that people preferred this place over the Ravenclaw common room. Anyway, that wasn't for what she went so far down into the castle for. ''I got a rose for you''Elly smiled and held out the rose. ''Hopefully it makes your day better''

"Thanks," Hayley said distractedly, still wondering how this person knew her name. She took the rose, unfolded the note, and began to grin as she read it. Harley was the best. And now she thought of it, they hadn't done any drawing together for quite a while. That should definitely be remedied immediately. She looked up at the girl who had given her the rose. "Yes, that definitely made my day better."
