This was a beyond exciting day for Daisy. Usually Valentines Day didn't mean much to the Second Year, but to be allowed to hand out roses made her wake up early and hurry down to deliver the flowers.
Slytherin was the third table she was going to, which she skipped to after the Hufflepuffs. Daisy wasn't entirely sure who Charlotte was, so going back to her technique, Daisy stood at the end of the table and shouted, "Charlotte Owens!"

Not having any type of romantic relationship with anybody, Charlotte had no idea of when Valentine's Day was. The Slytherin did not understand love very much and so days like them didn't come all too easy for her. She sat at the Slytherin table eating her breakfast and perked up when she heard her name being called by a small Gryffindor girl. Charlotte quickly stood up. "That's me!" she exclaimed, wondering why someone wanted her attention.

Daisy's eyes flicked to the girl that stood up and called back, so she quickly made her way there. She saw Sheridan on the way, and a smirk grew on her lips, remembering what she had sent. As she got to Charlotte, she shook the thought from her head. "Hiya! You have a rose!" Daisy grinned, "It's yellow so I don't think it's someone with a crush but hey, a rose is a rose!" She took out the yellow rose and the note that went with it and passed it to her.

Charlotte,

You're nicer than most people in Slytherin, it's refreshing.

From,
Cairo.

Charlotte beamed when the girl told her that she had a rose. The Slytherin was admittedly thankful that it was yellow and not any other colour because she considered herself much too young to be having crushes and was a bit confused why people around her were getting into relationships so early. Nevertheless, the Slytherin excitedly took the yellow rose and opened up the letter, revealing a note from Cairo which made her smile. She had sent him one but she never thought that he would send one back. "Oh, thanks!" she said, looking back up at the girl. "What's your name? Did you get any roses too?"

Watching the reactions had quickly become Daisy's favorite thing, and she knew that this was something she was going to do every year it happened. Delivering the roses was incredibly fun. "Daisy!" She replied to the girl's question. "None yet, but I don't expect any! It's more fun delivering anyway. Did you send any Charlotte?" Daisy asked.
