After a short deliver for Lenore Harvelle, she bit goodbye the lady with a smile and went to pick a random rose from her basket. She read the name on a whisper. Lauryn didn't quite know some of the people in some houses but can recognized her own housemates. This one was rather known as she plays Quidditch. The Hufflepuff was quite fascinated by the players of the sport. She was curious how women can compete at such level of danger withe men. Lauryn tried to find the Slytherin she adore on the field and found her not far from where Lenore was. The first year approached the blonde and started, "Hey, Odette, right? I can't never forget that face, you play Quidditch good." Lauryn was praising her and thought she might just well shut up because everyone can hear it.

Odette was sitting by herself at the Slytherin table, which wasn't exactly a novel experience. Sometimes she sat with some of her teammates, but most of the time she sat by herself. For the most part, she didn't mind that. Lately, she tended to sit at the table in a way that made the Gryffindor table visible so she could sneak glances at Harley. Though she was subtle about it. But just as she wanted to look, someone approached her. Instead, she looked up at the young girl, her eyebrows raising in surprise at her words. "Oh," she started, uncertain. "Thanks..." The girl's words were flattering, but she couldn't help but wonder if there was more to it.
