Michiko Ohtori was not the type of person to ever be seen in a bar
let alone a pub. So that is why she was going to a nice restaurant
that she knew on the outskirts of Osaaka. She really did love Japan.
Especially Tokyo, it was always very busy, Osaaka however was quite
a bit slower in terms of traffic or change. The were usually last to know
of any changes made to the government or whatnot. As she walked
out of her house to head to the restaurant, she couldnt help but to
stop and stare over at the cemetary where her bestfriend was now
buried. She and Toshiko had been as close as was physically possible
without being joined together. She still was in shock over the fact that
she had actually died. It had been such an unexpected death. One that
she never thought she would have to face. She had thought she
would be the one to go first. It had always been the thought. Everyone
had been of the same mind. "Oh Toshiko, she is going to live forever"
They would say. "She is so smart and Healthy, she'll develop the cure
for dying"
Had been the concensus. And then to have her life cut short
so quickly had caused Michiko to move away from Japan. To start a new
life somewhere she had never been. So ofcourse she picked New zealand.
Toshiko and herself had been planning to go there when they were younger.
She never got to fulfill her dream and so Michiko decided she would go.
To honour her bestfriends memory.

However now was not the time to dwell on such thoughts. She had to
head to the Restaurant to meet up with her family. She knew that she
was going to be very early, but she much preferred it that way. Then
she could have some time to herself to figure out what she would and
wouldnt tell them about her life in New Zealand. She had successfully
gotten her transfer, so that had been a good thing. She had a nice one
bedroomed apartment, so that was nice too. Though she was sure that
she would have to move eventually. It was a bit small, but it had been
all she could find on a moments notice. Next time she would make sure
to buy the place before moving. She turned down the street that would
take her directly to the Restaurant before looking around and smiling at
the people she saw exiting through its doors. It was a very expensive
new sushi restaurant that had been built just before she had moved.
She had been meaning to try it out for months, but had never gotten
around to it. She figured now to be as good a time as any however
and frowned up at the name of the Restaurant. 'Sushi for you, by Toshiko'
Ofcourse it wasn't the Toshiko she knew. It just happened to be a very
inconvenient coincidence. Though seeing as she didn't really believe in
coincidences, she was kind of angry at the distaste of the owners.
She held her head high as she entered through the door and looked around.

As she approached the counter, a waitress immediately came to take her order.
After waving the young girl off several times she was eventually
allowed to tend her seat, which ofcourse was in the centre of the room.
It was quite a long table as she was expecting many. But they wouldn't
be there for atleast an hour. She sighed slightly and pulled out her favourite
book as she began to wait. A water was brought to her and she flipped
through the pages of the book waiting for her family to arrive.

Austiin walked down the near empty street, he was currently on holidays with his son and sister. At the current moment Abby was taking care of Tommy since she wanted to buy Austiin his Christmas present, this made Austiin quite sad, she had forgotten to buy it before Christmas so he had to settle for a late Christmas present. What made Austiin more upset was that he spent alot of money on her only for her to say ‘It’s the wrong colour.’ So Austiin being Austiin threw red wine on it so it could be red.

Austiin stopped when he reached his destination, a new sushi restaurant, Austiin had not had sushi for years and he had not spoken Japanese for longer so he was a tad rusty, he walked into the restaurant and was immediately attacked with the smell of sushi, it smelled so nice and Austiin took a second to admire the smell, than he carried on with his original plan, to eat the sushi. When Austiin walked up to the counter a waitress came over to him, he smiled and let her lead him to a table and he sat down, he took a few seconds to think of a suitable reply for the young girl “Arigatô, shinpai shinaide, watashi wa genkidesu.” He said kindly and the girl left him.

Looking around he noticed their was a woman sitting at his table, tilting his head and raising his eyebrow and moved over a few seats so he could talk to her, he was after all a people person. “Kon'nichiwa, watashi no namae wa watashi ga motomeru koto ga anata no monodesu Austiin hayes, ga,desu ka?” He asked her in Japanese, he had no way of knowing if she could speak English or not.

Thank you, do not worry, I am fine.
