A Quiet Escape, France

The last thing Zoe heard Maximus say was how there was a small waterfall in the direction she was running away from, so she tried to circle herself back the way she was going without running into him. The little twigs were lightly slashing at her face, though she managed to brush most of them away. The leaves under her feet were crunching, and she knew she was making a lot of noise. Running was her favourite thing to do, but she understood that it could get annoying. She thought she could hear some water noise up ahead, so she slowed down her running to a point where she was walking, trying to catch her breath. She paused, and waited to hear Max catch up to her, so she pulled up a medium sized rock, and planted her bottom on it, resting her head on her hands.

Max laughed heartily as he ran, he enjoyed a good run but this was different. This was him quite literally chasing after the girl who was now his girlfriend and he would be damned to let her get away. He hadn't counted on her being so fast though and she really was. He liked something new about her and grinned as he finally came upon her on a rock sitting down. Maximus has slowed down considerably at this point and walked the rest of the way over to her. He sat down beside her and could not help but grin again.
"Wow, you are fast. Do you often run so fast to get away from your boyfriend?" he chuckled placing an arm around her shoulder.

Zoe smirked as Maximus walked towards her. She moved over a little so he could sit next to her, but slid back towards him once he was seated. She turned her body, to be more angled to him. She looked at him in the eyes, and put her hands in his lap. "You're not used to chasing what you want, are you?" She teased him playfully. Though, she wouldn't be running away any time soon, more likely running towards Maximus.
