Rosalind felt dignified. Her costume was beautiful, and this time instead in a more renaissance-style dress. She was so pleased when her aunt had offered to buy it for her. She strode into the halloween feast with her head held high and looked around to see if anyone was admiring her as much as she had admired herself. A girl could only hope.

Rosalind made her way to the spooky tent, peering in and looking at the dark inside with a smile on her face. She actually hadn't properly explored before and she wondered what the contents were like. The Gryffindor in her was intrigued and confident, but the sub-emotion of nervousness ebbed in the background. Was she brave enough to enter?

Coming to the Halloween feast dressed as a farmer was probably cheating when you actually lived on a farm, but Susie was too pleased with herself to care. All she'd had to do was throw on a shirt, some dungarees, and a straw hat, and she looked exactly the part. Best decision ever. Sipping pumpkin juice from a skull-shaped mug, she wandered toward the spooky tent. A girl in a green dress was already standing by the opening, peering into the dark - what lay beyond that, Susie couldn't see. To be honest, she wasn't really looking at the tent. That girl was beautiful. Like, wow. Her dress, her hair, her jewellery - she was literally perfect.

An overzealous zombie suddenly bumped into Susie, who in turn bumped into the girl in the dress. By sheer luck she managed not to spill any pumpkin juice, but she nonetheless launched into apology. "I'm so sorry - ohmygosh, you look amazing - sorry - someone bumped into me, and I bumped into you - I love your dress - sorry, am I in the way? Oh, jeez." If one of those kids with the big axes could just come and hit her over the head, that'd be great.
