June made her way from the dungeons to the entrance hall, where she and Fraser would meet. June wondered how he would look like, she had made some suggestions and let him know what she liked. But the last time he was in a smoking or whatever it was called he looked good too. He was someone June wouldn't mind be seen with, he had some status in this school with the titles he had. Although June never had interest in Quidditch, the school seemed to have and it was a popular thing. The blonde had put on an long dress and was pretty pleased with her look, she always wore an different dress to each year. And saved the best for last, waiting for her date, how odd that still sounded to her. But in a way it seemed a normal thing and she was glad to have him, he had asked her. And ofcourse she had said yes. But this was still all new for her to do so.

Fraser had been somewhat surprised that in the end, June had agreed to go to the dance with him. He'd so often danced around her, been interested in her with her uninterested in him. His feelings for her growing with time, and with hers seemingly never for him, he'd always tried to move on. But this time she'd said yes, and it wasn't just a friend thing, this was a date. Fraser had worn his best suit, the fit of it perfect, a nice tartan bowtie, and his hair was tidy. He had been int he hall a while already, taking the time to take some pictures before he had to meet her. He spotted her, and then headed to her. "Hey June," he said as he approached. "You look incredible,"

As June saw Fraser with his camera and his familliar red hair she waved at him. Smiling as he complimented her. June felt confident in the way she looked, but less in how to deal with this date thing. But why would it be any different than before hanging out with Fraser? So she just tried to focus on that thought. But it now made sense Fraser wanted to be close to her spending time and perhaps she now saw it. He was different than everyone else, more kind than anyone ever had been to her. And she didn't even felt like using him like she had been when meeting first. That had changed completly. ''Thanks Fraser.'' June said to him feeling incredible in her dress. '' You look.. nice in a suit.'' the blonde complimented. And looked at the great hall where people walked in and out. And back to Fraser, noticing his bowtie was a bit crooked and slowly moved her hand to make sure it was perfect. Looking at him with a smile, when she finished. '' Ready to go?'' June asked him. Looking in the direction and already enjoyed the jealous looks of the people inside.

Fraser smiled at her compliment and went completely still as she reached forward to fix his bowtie. He was watching her closely, a faint smile on his lips. He nodded as she finished and then held out his arm to her. "I am," he said. "Would you like to dance?" he offered, since he knew this was what people did at these events when they had a partner.

June was glad he seemed to be so gentle and exactly what she hoped he would do. June wasn't an fan of physical touch usually she thought people were gross, but she didn't mind to grab Frasers arm and took it gently. Smiling shortly and thinking of his question. June never danced before at such an thing, but she had learned to dance from her mother. Her parents often had some events and she had prepared June. But she had no clue if Fraser could dance. So perhaps she had to lead, she was used to lead in everything. '' Sure. Can you dance?'' She asked him with an grin. As they walked inside the great hall. The blonde looked around, she liked the Yule Ball the most of the events at Hogwarts so felt like a celebrity as she walked inside holding Frasers arm.

Fraser led her into the Great Hall, smiling easily at her, and at the room itself. It was nice to be here and to be able to just enjoy his evening. "I can manage a slow dance," he said, since he was sure she wouldn't be the type for the faster moving dancing. "And my dad showed me how to waltz," he then added. He knew a little Scottish Dancing too, but they weren't having a ceilidh so that didn't really matter. "We can stick to a slow dance though," he added, sure that would match the music far more.

June led Fraser guide her inside and looked around her, they passed some people and June smiled bright. Looking confidently as she arrived at the dancefloor. '' Oh really? I've learned to slow dance from my mother as well..'' the blonde explained. She never had told Fraser about her biological parents, and he wasn't one to dig deeper like some tried to be. That was nice. As an slow song came up she looked around for a moment and than to Fraser, standing in front of him. Putting one hand on his shoulder, taking a first step in leading and than the other one to the other shoulder. '' Shall I lead?'' June asked, but actually she knew she would she was not a follower and she figured Fraser knew too. And grinned shortly. '' I'm used to, but my father actually thought man should lead with dancing.'' June said to him.

Fraser wasn't too surprised that she had learnt to slow dance, of all the things he knew of her, that just made sense. He placed a hand on her waist and then held out his other hand so that she could take it. She took the first step and asked him. He would've figure June as someone who wanted and was good at leading, but the addition made him know what she wanted. "I can lead," he told her, and to prove it, he did, take the lead in the dancing.
