A Nice Day Out

Kat had finished up her homework for the day and thought that she might like to take a walk outside. The air was warm, but there was a gentle breeze blowing that felt nice against her face. She took off her shoes so she could feel the cool grass under her feet. She walked along silently for a few minutes before she starting absent mindedly humming to herself stopping every little bit to pick a dandelion or two. She loved taking walks, especially when it was warm outside. They seemed to help her clear her mind and put things into perspective.
