Avery was enjoying his new place, and enjoying that Phillip was living with him. Aesthetically, Phillip was a very beautiful person, and Avery had to admit he enjoyed the light flirting they had from time to time. Avery wasn't really looking for anything, so he made no moves. Phillip hadn't made any either, which was fine. Avery's heart wasn't ready to open up to anyone. He focused on their flat. It was two bedrooms, both spacious with walk in closets. A single bathroom, but a large one, with a big tub and a separate shower, a lot of counter space. But that was good for him, he liked having room for his face masks and beauty products. Avery had his own regimen, and he needed his routines. It was keeping him going.

The entire apartment was very plush, thick carpets and smooth wood in the kitchen and bathroom. The kitchen wasn't the biggest, but it was open. A stove, oven, a fridge and the sink were all along the same wall, with an island in the center of the kitchen instead of a table, leather backless bar stools along the edge near the carpet. It was aesthetically very pleasing. The living room was open, wide, a large tv on one wall.

The coffee table Avery had chosen was oak and the perfect size to balance the room. The couch was huge, taking up most of the room, hugging the wall on the right before branching out in an 'L' shape for another three seats. It was a deep black fabric, not leather but not shaggy, very soft and comfortable and covered in just the right amount of pillows with throw blankets over the back. It was an open apartment, very comfortable, with a small closed off backyard. The fence was high, a single tree interrupting the grass and casting most of the yard into shade. The porch wasn't much, but it was a deep beautiful wood with a single step down into the grass.

Avery loved this place already. His room was very simple. He had a large bed in the corner, full of pillows and a thick comforter. He had a grand piano in his room, and it didn't leave room for much else besides some wall shelves that were filled with his books. He was pleased with how the apartment had turned out. He sat at the grand piano now. Phillip had been out somewhere, and Avery took the chance to sit at the keys. He played a sorrowful tune, intricate and full of emotion.
