A new friendship

Tristan smiled as more drinks arrived for the lads. This is where the fun really began. As Tristan drunk half of this glass, he felt the effects begin to run through him, his head spinning with tipsiness as he pondered over finishing the rest of the glass. He didn't want to get too ahead of Jack, drinking competitions were no fun, it was better when all the people involved were all as drunk as each other. That way no-one got left out. "So come on then, if we're gonna get drunk you're gonna need to convince the waitresses to bring more than 2 glasses over at a time..." Tristan said with a laugh before downing the rest of his drink. Sharply closing his eyes as he swallowed the overly- strong drink, before opening them again as he felt it go down.

Jack smirked again as Tristan followed his lead and finished the glass. Downing the rest of his, he also managed to gulp down half of the next one as he waited for Tristan to catch up. He nodded, for that was what he had already asked the waitress, and he winked at her, causing her to flick her wand at the sideboard where 2 glasses were already ready. They came floating towards the two guys and Jack put them down on the table, lifting his glass in acknowledgement at the waitress. "So then, while you are drinking, please, tell me what actually happened with Amy. I will be drunk enough soon to forget it, but for my peace of mind, just tell me." He said, draining the second half of the drink he was holding. He still had 2 more on the table for him, and 2 more for Tristan, so he thought that if it continued, they would be drunk soon enough. His taste to the strong drink had likened after a few drinks, and now he found that he was able to drink more and more before finally sinking into a state of complete drunkenness.

Tristan watched as 2 more glasses each came over for the two of them. Tristan immediately shoved one glass of fire-whiskey down his throat before answering Jack's question, being careful what words he chose whilst he explained. There was no point in lying if he was going to be seeing Amy again whilst Jack was around...but that didn't mean he had to tell him everything. Tristan's speech was beginning to slur as he spoke, making the whole story seem a lot more funnier than it was at the time. "Well as I said, we flirted...then ended up back at hers...she put the kettle on...we kissed.....and enjoyed some fun time together." What he had said was true, but he had arranged his words in a careful way. The kettle implied that the pair of them had enjoyed a drink before doing anything, but infact that wasn't true, she had put the kettle on, but nothing was drunk. But as far as Tristan was concerned, it saved the risk that he had moved to quickly for Jack's liking.

Jack laughed at Tristan's slurred words. Deciding that what he had heard wasn't to be remembered so he couldn't think more about them, he downed the next two glasses, leaving his head buzzing with excitement rather than the words that he had just heard. Guessing that they had been phrased properly, he planned to make himself as drunk as possible so he wouldn't remember them. "Had some fun time eh?" He asked, his words also slurring together as they came out of his mouth. He hadn't wanted to pry any further into the issues, deciding to enjoy himself rather than kill someone, but it came out before he had a chance to stop them. He waited for a few minutes, clearing his brain before signalling for the next drinks to come over. They did, but he paused, waiting for Tristan to catch him up.

"Yeah you got it...fun time..." Tristan trailed off, not wanting to talk anymore about this particular topic before knocking back the next 2 glasses. He had caught up with Jack now and the drunken giggles began as the next round of drinks arrived at their table. Tristan immediately grabbed a glass, taking it in in large gulps, emptying the glass within seconds as the barmaids began to laugh at their drunkenness.

Jack raised his eyebrows at Tristan's words. He knew what it meant, but decided not to pry any further for fear of getting confirmation for what he had already guessed at. He smirked as Tristan gulped down another glass and also drained his own glass. His head had a moment where it began to swim, but he shook it quickly and the feeling vanished. He finished up the other 2 glasses on the table that were half drunk, and the waitresses removed the glasses, bringing 2 more over each. He smirked but stopped both of them drinking for a minute. "I will race you." He said and at that, began to gulp down the first glass. Pausing when he had finished the first one, he pushed his attention back to Tristan and gave him an opportunity to catch him up. Waiting till he had, he gulped down his next one and took a few moments to steady himself before turning to see what was happening with Tristan.

(OOC: I was thinking that they should get kicked out of the pub for being too drunk :p )

Tristan didn't reply to Jack's comment he just got on with the drinking. Immediately downing hte 2 glasses, not caring that Jack was watching him, Tristan burst out into fits of giggles. The drunkenness was really beginning to effect him now. "More?" He asked cheekily.

OOCOut of Character:
Lets do it!!! :p Mental Blank. Sorry this is seriously rubbish. :( :p

Jack raised his eyebrows again at Tristan, sure now that he was drunk. Deciding to join him in the amusement, he finished the remaining glasses on the table in front of him and then signalled to the waitresses. They came over and told him that if the pair of them had much more, they would have to make them leave the pub. Jack replied quietly and pressed a few more coins in their hands. They glanced at each other and he nodded encouragingly. They brought over a drink more for both of them and Jack downed his. When all the drinks were gone, a man who called himself the manager came over and ordered the two drunken lads out. After a whispered argument with the man, Jack gave up and shrugged the mans hold off him. Walking out of the pub, he raised his wand once more and sent a jet of light into the ceiling, scaring a few of the younger people there. Laughing coldly now, he smirked at the manager and indicated his head for Tristan to leave as well. The two drunk men stumbled onto the pavement. Laughing now, he pulled them both out of the way of some on going traffic and laughed again, but unsure why he was laughing when they nearly got killed.

(OOC: No thats fine... i do that loads :p )

Tristan drowned yet another drink as the pair of them began to receive a few disapproving looks from their fellow drinkers and the pub staff. A few quiet words were made between Jack and the Manager before it was hinted that they should both leave. Tristan approached the Manager, and drunkardly grabbed him by the shirt. Before laughing and shoving him away. Tristan was never usually the physical type when he was drunk, but he had obviously gone a little too far and a little too quickly with the drinking tonight. It was really having a bad effect on him. This really showed as the two lads almost got themselves run-over. Tristan laughed at his friends attempt to save them both as Tristan landed firmly against the ground, giggling to much to pull himself up.

Jack carried on laughing but frowned down at his friend lying on the floor. He stopped laughing for a second and hauled him up. Wondering if he was too drunk to apparate, he located the nearest bench and half dragged Tristan to it. He got a disapproving stare from a passerby but just laughed again and couldn't stop. Sitting down next to Tristan her carried on laughing, wondering what was so funny now. Alcohol didn't normally affect him this badly, but tonight it seemed he had uncontrollable laughing fits. He wasn't completely out of it, and was still conscious enough to do something responsible if needed. But, Tristan was old enough to look after himself and so Jack wouldn't worry about him any longer.

Tristan felt himself get dragged by Jack over to a nearby bench. "Man that was fun." He told Jack as he continued to laugh. It was easy to believe that this was the first time that these two lads had ever been drunk. Tristan drunkardly started belting out old nursery-rhymes as he placed an arm around Jack's and began swaying, but far too over-the-top for any normal person. Tristan was drunk alright, and it was beginning to look like it was going to be a very long night for the two overly drunk lads.

Jack laughed along with his friends and joined in with the random nursery rhymes being belted out. He knew most of them but the ones he didn't, he just hummed along, swaying with Tristan. Some girls sent them a few strange looks as they passed but he just smiled at them. He laughed along again with his friend and nodded, responding to the original statement but much later than it was said. "What to do now?" He asked and stood up on the bench, singing the current nursery rhyme much louder than he would have done usually. It is normally said that people are completely the opposite to their natural character when they are drunk, and with Jack, this was true. The usual cocky and arrogant attitude that he owned seemed to shrink as he lost control of what he did, making him almost more shy of what he was doing. It was a strange reaction, but that was just how it was...

The nursery-rhymes soon came to an end and Tristan only just caught what Jack said before he threw-up all over the street, but also over Jack's shoes. Those shots had been consumed a little too quickly , a speed that Tristan just wasn't used to. But the drunkenness was really beginning to get to Tristan as he looked at the sick then laughed. "Maybe...get some new shoes..." Tristan laughed, finally answering Jack's question as he made a failed attempt to stand-up. Tristan wobbled back and forth as he tried to balance himself, resting a hand on Jack's shoulder to help him to do so.

Jack just laughed at Tristan as he puked over his shoes. Taking them off, he waved them about in the air above their heads, splattering Tristan's head with the sick. Laughing again he raised his eyebrows. "Smuch better now." He said, his words slurring together as he spoke. He felt a heavy hand on his shoulder and for a moment he thought it might be a deatheater or a police officer. Laughing as he realised that it was Tristan he also attempted to stand up and join him. But, he had moved too soon and Jack toppled back to the ground again what with losing his supports of Tristan.

Eventually Tristan managed to gain his balance again, but the giggles continued as he watched Jack fall to the ground. "A li'bit...dizz...ar'we?" Tristan said, barely able to finish a word before the next word slurred into it. Laughing at Jack, Tristan took a few drunken steps backwards before running towards Jack and jumping on him, landing on him with a loud thump, and a bunch of giggles from Tristan. He was too drunk to feel the pain, and too drunk to hear any of Jack's bones break for that matter. He hoped that wasn't the case as he continued to laugh, giggle, and chuckle the night away.

Jack swore to himself as Tristan landed on his right arm. Hearing something snap, and a searing pain run through his arm, he swore again in pain. Picking up his wand with his left arm trembling, he tried to remember the spell through the drunken state that he was in. Muttering something that sounded like the right spell, he watched as his twisted arm bent into a strange shape and then returned to its normal position. Sighing, he put his wand away, hoping to find someone who would help him. A few minutes later, as he stood there in pain, the seconds passing like hours as Tristan just giggled, he pulled out his wand again, wondering if it would work. "Episkey." He said, loudly. It had been a long time since he had used a spoken spell, unless it was a dark curse. So, cringing into the darkness, as a mixture of pain and fear of his own voice, hit him, he stood there, happy that his arm had mended. Turning now to face Tristan, he wondered what to do with him. He seemed completely out of it, and Jack was fighting to stay in control of his own drunkenness. Hoping that he would at least stay conscious enough to look after the pair of them, he cursed the moment where they had both decided to get drunk.

Tristan's drunken laughter grew as he watched Jack go through some immense pain in his arm, before mending it with some simple magic. He was too drunk too realize that he was infact being extremely insensitive towards the poor guy. Tristan slowly pulled himself to his feet, holding his stomach as he staggered about laughing. "So wha' now m...mmm...mmm...matteee?" He asked drunkardly.

Jack raised his eyebrows at Tristan, his consciousness still enough to know that the state of Tristan was beginning to push his luck. Feeling a wince of pain run through his arm again, he remembered that he still wanted both of them alive for when they met Amy and her friend. Smirking at the idea of 2 ghosts turning up, he pulled Tristan to his feet, feeling annoyed at the drunken lad who had caused his so much pain and could only laugh. Pulling him across the road, Jack sat down on a nearby bench, wishing that he hadn't gotten so drunk or had gotten so drunk that he didn't know what was going on. Thinking for a moment, he tried to speed up his brain activity, it having been slowed by the drink.

Tristan felt himself being pulled around by Jack and soon found himself collapsed on a bench. The pair of them had pushed the boundaries of drunkenness tonight, and if they continued for much longer, they would either end up dead, in prison, or in Azkaban. This thought hit Tristan in the face like a Boomerang as Jack didn't appear to say anything in reply to his drunken question earlier. Tristan sat forward and rested his elbows on his knees before placing his chin in his hands and sighing.

Jack frowned at Tristan as he sat back with his head in his hands. For a fleeting moment, he panicked that Tristan would chuck up. But, putting it behind him, he pushed out his slurred words. "You okkkk?" He asked, his letters merging into one another as he fought with himself to keep sober and conscious for now. Knowing that he only had half an hour max before his body gave up on him, he hoped that Tristan would suggest getting 2 hotel rooms as Jack couldn't quite get his words focused enough to spit them out.
