Mark walked around the school slowly. As he had had no lessons today and he couldnt find Tyson, he was on his own which always spelt bad new because when he was on his own he could think about his life. His life which was so bad at the moment it was questionable if he would ever recover. He had been lied to his whole life by his family, and people around him were dying and others were becoming distant. He was getting beaten up by older boys and he was just alone, or that was how he felt.

When Mark got to his favorite place in the school, the cliffs, he lay down on his back and sighed as he put his hands over his face and shut his eyes. He listened to the sound of the crashing water behind him and the wind through the grass and it passed though his hair and down his back and made him shiver. It was nice out though, the sun was high in the sky and any normal person would be enjoying it, but now Mark.

Sarah was getting familiar with the school grounds, it was nothing like Hogwarts, but now that she's been here for a month she didn't mind it at all. Besides she had the care of her two cousin and Seth to look after her. Though she barley made enough friends, she figure she will eventually. She just had to be a little open with others, and not get into a fight like she had one at Hogwarts.

Sarah was walking the grounds when she spotted the cliff. Funny how she had been so close to Hogwarts cliff but never actually experience it well. So she walked up towards the area and spotted a boy resting on the ground. "Oh hey" she smiled not knowing who he was but seeing him around school and classes together. "I saw you potion" she said. "Stones right?" she sat down besides him enjoying the view as she rest.

Mark lifted his hands up from his face and looked across at the girl speaking to him. She was pretty so Mark was only too happy to talk. He sat up and smiled charmingly. " Yeah but my first name is Mark. Yours is Sarah right, i never forget a pretty face, and with the one you have i dont think i will ever forget." He winked at her and looked forward. He liked it when people where around to talk to as it took his mind off his other problems.

Sarah blushed and laughed at the same time. At least drummy boys were a lot taken by her than anyone back in Hogwarts. "Thanks and yes I am" she grinned playfully nudging him. "I'm sort of new here but my cousin been attending since like forever" she grinned, Mark was very cute, different than Kevin and Seth. But all equally attractive. "What are you up to? Bored?" she asked while admiring him close by.

Mark smiled when he saw her blush. He shrugged at her question not really wanting to talk about his cr@ppy life. " Yeah i was bprd and this is the best place in the school so i came here. Apparently i was in the right time at the right place." He looked at her and smiled again. " What about you then?"

Oh was that saying something much? Sarah nip her bottom lips while shrugging. "Don't know" she admitted truthfully. "Was tryna see what I can get into? You know what I mean" she said almost teasing the boy. He was flirting so she flirted back. Sarah wasn't much into hooking up but she figure if something was bond to happen might as well roll with it. Besides she got all this from her tutor, whenever she brought her lover over. Sarah more than a few times caught them in the act of grouping. Lucky she didn't see to much, her mother was lousy at picking tutors.

Mark nodded. " Yeah I know exactly what you mean." He sighed and ran his hand through his hair and smiled. " So then Sarah have you got a boy to keep you close and to stop me from trying?" He looked at her curiously as he wondered if she really was single or not, he hoped she was as it would make it easier for him

Sarah looked down blushing, "Ah well I'm not allow to say" she shrugged feeling stupid at what she just told him. "I mean yeah" she looked up smiling a little. "Only thing he's to far away" she shrugged. It was the start of something new so she couldn't say yes or no. Really she had no idea, but she was thinking about him more often. Than there was Seth, lovely Seth. Sarah wonder if she had a guilty side to her. If she ever did what Rafeal and what would happen if she let lust take over. Maybe she was to young to think about it and shouldn't let nothing hold her back. Maybe....

Mark frowned slightly then chuckled as she spoke. She made it sound a lot more complicated then it was. The guy was too far away for any kind of proper relationship. Simple right? Mark knew that feeling too. The first ever girl friend he had went to hogwarts then left him soon after waiting for her to answer his letters or show up on the weekends they had off together. He sighed heavily . " Well i kind of know how you feel so dont worry. The whole long distance thing doesnt really work out well. Well it didnt for me anyway." He shook his head and his thoughts, running his hand through his hair.

"Its not so bad" Sarah frowned. He made it seem so negative, but she suppose if it happen to him, maybe there something wrong with long distant relationship. Still she refuse to let those negatives thoughts enter her mind. "I mean if you really like the person, should try at least to make it work" she said with a smile. He seemed down, but Sarah was watching him brush his hair back. He was very attractive, she looked away so she couldn't get caught staring. What she was a girl? She couldn't help but like boys around her own age, especially when they were older to.

Mark odded with a shrug. She had a point but it wasnt as easy as she made it out to be. Mark had tried to make it work but having a girl who wanted nothing to do with him kind of made it hard. Maybe he just wasnt meant to date a girl, maybe there was something about relationships that sort of repelled him. What ever the case it was annoying. " Well you know its easier said then done. I tried as much as i could to make it work but she just ignored everything so i gave up after a while. Its funny to think about all the sh!t i went through to be with her and then she just cast me away. I got beaten up badly just to be with her and yet she did this. Oh well maybe there is just something about me that girls dont like." He shrugged again. It didnt make sense though he had always been a ladies man and had gotten every girl he wanted in the school so it must have just been the relationship thing

Sarah let her head drop down. Wow it was that complicated at least for him. "Well I don't think there nothing wrong with you" she said, trying to bring up his spirit. "I mean if you did all that for her, there nothing wrong with you. Maybe some girl aren't just ready for that kinda of commitment" she wonder if she was one of them. "So you? Don't put ya self down" she nudge him, placing her hand on his shoulders pushing him away a little laughing. "Cheer up, I'll be your friend if that will you a smile" Sarah fixed her hair to the side, her earrings to big for her ears dangal at her side. She love earrings that were loud, big and rounded. "Hey? What can we do around here?" she decided to change the subject for his sake.

Mark smiled. I was nice to be told that it wasnt his own fault things didnt work out with Cece. At least he could take that weight of his shoulders but that didnt really mean much compared to everything else that he was carrying. " Thanks Soph that means a lot to me. If you are looking for something good to do then i believe that you came to the wrong school. Its quite boring here to be honest." He sighed slightly and looked out over the water down the cliff where they were sat. " I bet i can throw a stone further than you can." He smiled at the pathetic excuse for a game

"No thanks Mark" she stood up dusting herself up from the ground. "I'm not into throwing stones. I might just go get something to eat" she started to walk away heading towards the direction of the castle. "You can come if you like? Its up to you!" she shouted now that she was distant away from him. He was right about certain things he said to her, and she believe it when he told her about this place being dead. It look like it, everything just seem dull. If she wanted to have some fun she would have to risk having it here and do stuff she wouldn't normally do while she was at it. Like go into the boys dorm or something. Or capture a troll and let him inside the school. She was feeling disobedience today, maybe she could do something tonight.

Mark stood up and laughed as he jogged after her. " You think im letting a pretty girl like you out of my sight. You are mistaken little lady." He smiled then matched her pace. " So what are you in the mood for? I mean the school food isnt the best but then again its better than what ever my dad makes." He laughed again. It felt good just to be able laugh again .

"How about a kiss? Instead of food?" she wink, course it was a joke. Sarah laugh pushing him a little. "I'm sure its good food, house elves are there for that reason only" even if she never met one before. "Do you own a house elve at home?"

Mark laughed at her obvious joke. Of course if she meant it he would have been only to happy to oblige. He gave a little shrug with a shake of his head. " Nah we dont. Our house isnt that big so we can do it ourselves. Anyway im out most of the time so my dad mainly lives on his own." He continued to match her pace. " So what about you? Any magical creatures in your house?"

"I wish, I always wanted to own one but not a elf" she wasn't to keen on owning elves. Even if they did like what profession or use they are meant for in a wizaring home. "I rather own a animal but I live with my uncle now. He told me I couldn't have one because he's on the verge of adopting a child" Sarah was happy for her uncle, him and his wife deserved every bit of happiness. "So the girl you dated? What school did she go to?"

Mark sighed slightly. So much for changing the subject. He wasnt sure if he even wanted to talk about it. He didnt want to seem like a weak little child in front of her so he had no choice. " She went to HNZ. She is a gryffindor second year. She is 13 now i think." He shrugged. As he had only turned 15 the age difference wasnt too bad so he didnt really care about what other people thought about it. " Can we change the subject now. There isnt really much to talk about. We dated then we broke up, thats all."

Sarah felt stupid, now that he rashed on her that way. She totally forgot what he had said before, so she did the unexpected and kiss Mark. It was a tap kiss, nothing special but she kissed and started to walk towards the kitchen. "My bad Mark forgot" she muttered. It was actually Sarah first kiss with a boy, she had share with someone she hardly knew. But doesn't all kisses happen that way? Unexpected and bold? Sarah look back at Mark, "Hope that make up for me questioning"

Mark was a little shocked when she kissed him. It was nothing amazing but it was totally unexpected. He shook it off and walked to catch up again. " Urm yeah sure why not." He looked away slightly embarrassed and scratched his neck. Usually he would always be expecting something like that but it must be his sadness that stopped it that time. It felt weird now. He clear his throat and began to speak again. " I thought you had a boy friend?" Maybe Mark just misunderstood her before or something

"I said I couldn't say" she looked at him, it was totally a awkward moment. She laughed uneasy, feeling a little embarrassed right now. "It was my first kiss yay me" she kept making herself look more foolish but one day she can look back at this and laugh about it. Right now she just felt mortified. It was a try in cheering him up that she grace him with her first kiss. But deep down inside she may have a thing for Mark, she just wasn't going to admit it right away. Sarah could feel her cheeks get red, ugh she had over thought it to much. She had to learn to loosen up and accept life for what it was, plain out complicated.

Mark looked at her and chuckled. " Seriously that was your first kiss. Wow but i wouldnt sat that that counted. It was hardly a kiss enough to be counted as a first one. I think that your first kiss has to be with someone you like and it has to be a proper kiss and it has to be nice." He smiled as he remembered his first kiss. It had been when he was ten and he was with a girl he had had a crush on and it was sun set and she wanted to see it so naturally he took her then he kissed her in the middle of the setting. Of course you never forget your first kiss so it has to be nice.

"Okay fine than" she said with a smirk. She leaned over him again, and place her arms around his neck. She kissed Mark fully in the lip, this time she imitated the mouth movement she once or a couple time saw her tutor do with her boyfriend whenever he came over after Sarah's lesson. Once she counted almost a minute she let go, her face flushed. "Kay now I need some water" she laugh full of glee, still she wasn't going to tell him that she may like him. It was to young to be serious, she needed to sort her feelings out before she declare anything.

(Haha that made me giggle xD )

Mark kissed her back. He rested his hands on her waist and kissed her passionately. As always he put everything into it. He had a strange tingly feeling as he did so. It was strange how it reminded him of how he felt when ever Cece would write to him or when he met her for the first time. He contemplated the thought of feeling that way for her but he couldnt, it wasnt his nature and yet here he was al over again. He let go of her when she pulled away. He returned her smile and laughed. " Yeah right urr water." He scratched the back of his neck again like he always did when he was nervous or awkward. " I guess we should start walking over to the can-tine again then." He said and slowly walking. " So how was your first kiss?" He said smiling
