Rory bounced excitedly on the balls of her feet as they all hurried along the corridor towards one of the empty classrooms. Coming back to school was always a bit of a drag in terms of attending lessons, but every year she grew more and more grateful to be back spending her days in the company of her friends. Especially friends such as these - with Hayley in Slytherin it was sometimes hard to all meet up together, and they didn't have the patience to wait until the next weekend to spend a long amount of time together. Which absolutely meant sneaking out at night, Rory thought to herself with a grin. Reaching one of the classrooms, she unlocked the door with a quick spell and then ushered the other girls in as she scanned up and down the corridor for any unwelcome signs of movement. The coast was clear for the moment, so once the others were in the room Rory shut the door behind them and immediately dropped to sit cross-legged on the floor. "So what are we going to do tonight, then?" She attempted a menacing grin. "I propose truth or dare." Something entertaining always happened whenever they played this.

Hayley bustled along with the others, grinning and full of enthusiasm. Her friends - these ridiculous, wonderful girls - were the highlight of life at Hogwarts. Hayley hated how isolated she was in Slytherin, with no one she could trust nearby, so these meetings - particularly the illicit ones - were especially precious to her. Hayley eagerly followed the others into the empty classroom. When everyone else was inside, she went back to the door and locked it with a quick spell. It wouldn't do to have any interruption on a night like this, a wild night for fun and mischief. Not that such a simple spell would keep anyone out for long, but it would at least give them some warning in case of emergency. That done, she perched on one of the desks, swinging her legs nonchalantly beneath her. It was a silly bit of one-upmanship on Rory's position on the floor, and more importantly, she liked to swing her legs. "Hell yeah," she grinned. "Truth or dare sounds great."

Being back at school meant exactly one thing; being back with the greatest group of friends ever, back in their element, having fun and heeding no rules. The night air was electrifying, the gang were ready for shenanigans, and everything was as it should be. Harley couldn't wipe the grin off her face as she followed the others through the school, ducking into the empty classroom quickly after Rory. This was perfect. Their own little hideaway for the moment, to hang out and spend the night on whatever fun and mischief they decided.

Once Hayley had taken her seat, Harley opted to sit on the floor right in front of her, resting her head back against Hayley's knees, not aware of the other girl's leg-swinging plans. It felt cosy to sit like this, connected with everyone, but also a little bit like she actually had a proper chair. As soon as Rory proposed truth-or-dare Harley was bouncing on the spot in excitement, unable to bring herself to wait for Rose's response. "Hell yes! You called the game, so you gotta go first, truth or dare?" She asked, grinning excitedly.

Rose trailed behind her friends as they headed to an abandoned classroom at night, occasionally getting distracted by paintings they passed. She was excited to be on an adventure with them all, especially because Hayley could join them like this. It wasn't fair to the other girl that they were kind of technically always having a sleepover with the three of them without Hayley, though they couldn't help that.

But it meant she was extra excited about this! Getting to hang out together was always fun and it being secret and at night made it a lot more fun. She followed Rory inside the classroom and took her example of sitting on the floor, sitting next to her so she could look at Harley and Hayley. It was funny how Rory first asked them what they were going to do before practically declaring they were going to play truth or dare. Rose didn't mind, it was a fun game to play. Hayley and Harley both agreed too, and Rose nodded. "Sure, but yes. You first."

Rory's eyes followed Hayley curiously as she headed back towards the door. They'd only just got here, what was - oh."Hah, smart," she said, grinning at her friend as she locked the door again. "You're obviously the Slytherin in the group; whatever would we do without you?" Her attention quickly returned to Harley though, who commanded that she should go first for suggesting the game. Rory had no objection, and pulled an exaggerated face at the obviousness of her answer. "Dare, duh." As if she'd pick anything else. She wondered if her friend would choose something easy to start off with or just dump her in the deep end right away. It didn't really matter though, cause either way she was definitely going to do it.

Harley laughed, looking around for something to dare Rory to do. After thinking about the size of the room, she laughed as she got it. "Alright! Fine, I dare you to try and do a cartwheel. There should be space if you push a couple of the desks back." Harley had no idea whether Rory had any sort of experience doing that sort of thing, it might be a piece of cake, but it felt good as a Starter Dare to kick off their night of mischief.

Rory waited eagerly to hear what Harley would say, and laughed as soon as she did. "Easy." Well, it should be, at least. She hadn't done a cartwheel in years, but it wasn't like it was a hard thing to forget how to do. Leaping up from her spot on the floor, Rory set about pushing enough of the desks back to make room for herself and once she had finally cleared a large enough space stood at one end of it and held her arms above her head. "Now presenting, the amazing, the spectacular - Daredevil Rory, as she cartwheels along a tightrope over fifty metres in the air!" Flashing her friends a grin, she gave herself a couple of seconds to prepare and then launched herself onto her hands, trying to kick her legs as far up into the air as they would go.

It wasn't very far. Rory had always been largely pathetic at cartwheels. Still, she insisted on giving her friends a mock bow, pleased that she had completed her first dare. Settling herself back on the floor next to Rose, she jostled her friend softly with her elbow. "Alright, you next. Truth or dare?"

Rose giggled as Harley dared Rory to do a cartwheel and watched with interest as her friend attempted it. Rory's announcement made her laugh again, and she clapped her hands in encouragement at the other girl. "Go Rory!" All in all, everything around Rory and the girl herself were relatively unscathed, something Rose wasn't sure would be the case if it was her. "Good job!" She said, encouraging her friend even though it hadn't been too impressive. When Rory asked her next she considered it for a moment, but not very long. "Dare!" She said, grinning at Rory. She was curious to see what she would come up with.

Rory grinned as Rose picked doing a dare, but then she paused as she tried to think. Just what would be a good dare? She hadn't thought this far ahead. After looking around the room a bit and thinking furiously, she thought she had come up with something that would be entertaining enough. "I dare you... to act like a dog until your next turn." This should be fun, she thought, grinning at Rose.

Rose was delighted by the dare and barked at once, loudly, before shifting so she was sitting in what she thought was a more dog-like position. Then she realized what she would be doing if she were really a dog and pounced on Rory with another bark. She pretended to bite the other girl on the arm, though she didn't really, and then grinned at her. "Woof. You practically asked for this. Uh, woof." She then paused, tilting head in an unintentionally dog-like manner. "So now... woof, Hayley." She said, turning on the Slytherin. "Truth or dare?" She then barked again, as she didn't want be accused of failing the dare. If speaking wasn't allowed it wouldn't be fair, as she had to ask someone truth or dare. She wondered what Hayley would pick, and if she could come up with a good question or dare for the girl on the spot.

Hayley laughed at Rose's dog acting, and chortled even harder when she used it as an excuse to fake biting Rory. "You really did ask for that." Hayley reached precariously over Harley and ruffled Rose's hair; if she had to pretend to be a dog, surely that meant the others should treat her like one, too. She didn't hesitate for a moment when Rose asked her the question; the answer was completely obvious. "Dare." There was no way she would choose anything else at this stage . . . although considering that probably the whole group would think like that, Hayley decided she might say truth later, just to change things up a bit.

Rose grinned as Hayley laughed at her fake biting Rory, she really had asked for it. Dares were so much fun, though, and she was glad that Hayley asked dare as well. She thought for a moment, scratching her chin. "Um..." Then she got it. "I dare you to say the alphabet backwards as quickly as you can! Uh, and if you slip up you have to start over" She grinned at her friend. "Oh, and I mean, Woof!" She added quickly. As Rose could imagine this being very difficult if she attempted it herself, she hoped it wouldn't take Hayley more than two tries as it would hold up the game. Still, it would be funny.

Hayley chuckled at Rose's dare. It wasn't as exciting as she'd hoped, but hey, the night was young. She was sure there would be plenty of time for the dares to get more extreme over the course of the night, as they inevitably would. "Z, X,Y - f***." Hayley put her head in her hands, embarrassed. How could she have managed to mess that up so quickly. "Z, Y, X, W, V, U, T, S, R, Q-" Hayley went as fast as she could, pausing briefly now and again to run the next section of the alphabet in her head the way it was meant to go. "P, L, M, O - damnit. Z, Y, X, W, V, U, T, S, R, Q, P, O, N, M, L, K, J, I, H, G, F, E, D, C, B, A!" She shouted the letter A in triumph, then turned a mischievous glance towards Harley, sitting at her feet. "Well, well, well, now it's your turn. What'll it be, Harley? Truth? Or dare?"

Harley was loving tonight. She laughed and applauded Rory's cartwheel, giggled in delight at Rose's dog impression, and snickered all through Hayley's alphabet attempts. This was so much fun, and being with her friends felt warm. This was Harley's real home. As her own turn came around Harley clapped delightedly, sitting up straighter. "Dare, duh!" She grinned up at Hayley, looking back at the other girl. "Make it a good one."

Hayley considered for a moment, exaggeratedly stroking her chin. Of course Harley had wanted a dare, she wouldn't expect anything less, but that didn't mean she actually had an idea for one yet. Something that was fun, but not too exciting yet. Something silly. Something that Harley would appreciate, yet also hate. "I dare you . . . to . . ." Hayley announced grandly, then gave the actual dare suddenly and quickly: "let Rory draw on your face."

Harley laughed and groaned. "What?! No!" She giggled. "What if we get caught, I don't wanna run away from the Professors with a stupid moustache or something!" Harley laughed, then gave an over-dramatic sigh. "Fiiiine..." She dug through her bag, tossing Rory a non-permanent marker. "Be kind!"

Rory watched Rose with great amusement as she began her dare, and laughed as the other girl pretended to bite her on the arm. "What have I done to deserve such treatment," she joked with a grin, swiping her hand an inch or so away from Rose's face in an imitation of smacking her on the nose. "Bad dog!" Truthfully she was having a great time, however, and was pleased at how much Rose was getting into the dare - her friends were right, there was really no other reaction she should have expected.

Grinning at the idea of a talking dog, Rory listened to the announcement of Hayley's dare with glee - and let out a loud snort as her friend messed it up almost immediately. Hayley liked to think she was smarter than Rory (and honestly sometimes she probably was, Rory conceded to herself), but it was nice to have it proven that she couldn't get through the whole alphabet backwards in one try either. As Hayley's efforts continued, however, Rory got more and more caught up in wanting her friend to succeed, and she thumped the ground twice in excitement once she had done so.

Harley's dare was easily the most exciting to her so far, though - mostly because Rory actually got to be an active participant in it. For a brief second she held her breath as Harley initially denied the dare, wondering what punishment they should set up for refusing. But of course Harley didn't do so for long, and Rory caught the marker easily as it sailed towards her. "What about running away from the professors with a fabulous moustache," she grinned, shuffling forwards towards her friend on her knees. She might not have had much artistic talent, especially compared to others in the room, but Rory made up for it in enthusiasm and soon had a pair of cat whiskers across Harley's cheeks, a coloured-in heart on the tip of her nose, and a chain of flowers across her forehead that were supposed to look like one of the crowns the Wild Patch always seemed to have floating around, but looked rather more like a mess of circles and oddly shaped 'petals' performing a line-dance. Rory tried to throw a leaf in at the last moment to save it, but it turned out to just make the crown kind of worse so she just capped the marker and set it back in front of Harley with a grin. "Maybe it's better if you don't look at it. But it's not a stupid moustache, so that's something, right?" She turned to Rose and Hayley. "How'd I do?"

Harley laughed and closed her eyes as Rory approached with the marker. "No fair!" She giggled, trying to hold still while the pen tickled her face. It didn't feel like Rory was drawing the shape of a moustache, and she tapped her fingertips on her knees impatiently, waiting until Rory was done. She realised too late that there wasn't any mirror in here, and it was much too risky to sneak out to a bathroom just to look at her face. She was going to have to wait to even see what was being done to her. Drat. Once Rory moved back, Harley pulled a face. "What did she draw?" She asked the others impatiently.

Rose put her hands over her mouth to stifle her giggles as she watched Rory draw on Harley's face. When Harley asked what she drew she had to laugh a little. "Uhm, cat whiskers, a heart on your nose and uhh..." She frowned at Harley's forehead. "Curly hair?" She asked, glancing at Rory. "Or fried eggs. Something like that." She laughed. "Rory, what is that?" She clapped her hands. "Who's next?"

Hayley burst out laughing when she saw what Rory had drawn, and once she had started she couldn't seem to stop. To have such wonky drawing on her face would be terribly embarrassing for an artist like Harley - which was, of course, what had made Hayley think of the dare. She'd been concerned when Harley had initially refused, but she should have known her friend wouldn't be a spoilsport for long. "That's fabulous." Hayley paused for a moment, studying the haphazard shapes on Harley's forehead and trying to work out what they were. "You look great, Har," she said with a straight face, then burst out laughing again at her friend's expression. She looked around the circle, grinning wildly. "Must be Rory's turn next, right?"

Seeing Rose and Hayley's reactions to her attempt at artistry just made Rory more amused at the whole situation, and she grinned widely. "Yes Rose, good guess - it was fried eggs." She actually liked that explanation better - particularly as no one could seem to tell that she'd drawn a flower crown. "It's okay, Harley, we can probably Scourgify your head later if you like." Hayley then announced it was her turn for another dare, so Rory spread her arms in open invitation. "Yup, my turn! Who's going to ask me?" She was totally ready for whatever they had to throw at her.

im so sorry ;_;

Harley pulled a face, resisting the urge to itch at the pen-marks on her skin. "Me!" She called out indignantly, wiggling her eyebrows. "Hmm, revenge..." She grinned, the movement of her face curling her kitty whiskers wickedly. "Truth or dare?"

Rory's grin quickly turned into a mock groan at Harley's words. "Revenge, ughhhh." The screwed up expression didn't stay on her face for long though, and she smirked challengingly at her friend. "Truth, then. Do your worst." She was sure Harley could think of all sorts of evil and impossible dares, but Rory tended to be honest with her friends quite often - she'd like to see how Harley planned on executing her revenge now.

A thousand dare possibilities were running through Harley's mind as she waited for a reply, none seeming quite good enough. She certainly wasn't expecting the response she got, though it certainly narrowed down the possibilities. Truth, eh? "Hmmm. Do you liiiiiiiIIIiiiike anyone?!" Harley asked in a teasing sing-song voice, cheshire grin splitting her face.

Whatever kind of lame question Rory was expecting (because all truth questions were lame in truth or dare, no matter who asked them) - it wasn't this one. "What?" she spluttered, half laughing at the ridiculousness of the question. "No!" But a small thought flitted across the corner of her mind unbidden. "No," she said again, slightly more quickly more this time.
