After being deprived of flying for the entire winter break, Scorpius couldn't wait to fly his Sienna Storm out on the Pitch again. He had sent a note to Taylor via owl, telling her to meet him out here with her broom. He felt kind of bad that he hadn't invited Sam, his best friend who's life just happened to revolve around Quidditch, but he wanted some time alone with his new girlfriend for a little while. The last time he had seen her was back at his home in Ireland and although he loved the fact that she came over, he was still rather embarrassed by everyone who decided to tell stories of him, not to mention the lack of privacy they had since everyone was so interested in getting to know Taylor.

Unable to wait much longer, Scorpius mounted his broom and kicked off hard on the ground, immediately sending the wind brushing against his face. He smiled in glee at the oddly familiar sensation his stomach felt as he lurched into the air. He did a loop-de-loop to shake off his excitement and began a slower circle around the pitch as he waited for Taylor.

Taylor was sat on her bed in the girls dormitory, reading a book. Although after reading the first line about 27 times, she put it back on the side table and let out a breath wondering what to do with her time now she was back at Hogwarts. At that thought she heard a tapping at the window. Jumping up she let the owl in, to find a note from Scorp requesting to meet him at the Quidditch pitch. Taylor grinned and went to grab her Nimbus 2001, a quick glance in the mirror, she wondered if she should change out of her grey shirt and jeans and into something else. She soon ditched that thought, she was just going flying, it would probably be more comfortable anyway.

Taylor left the common room and realised she was practically running down to the Quidditch pitch in excitement to see Scorp for the first time sinse the holidays. She stopped at the edge of the pitch, her presense covered by the stand. She watched as Scorpius did a loop-de-loop in the air and she grinned. Her visit to Scorp's house had been great, his brother was adorable no matter what Scorp said and his family was incredibly nice.

After Scorp had slowed down Taylor stepped out onto the pitch, grinning up at her boyfriend. It still sent a pulse through Taylor whenever she thought of Scorp as her boyfriend, it only increased her grin.

Scorpius had only just completed a full circle around the pitch when he noticed the familiar silhouette of a certain blonde haired Gryffindor that made his heart stutter every time he saw her. She was standing below by the stands and Scorpius could tell from way up here that she was flashing that gorgeous smile of hers which only caused more butterflies to flutter in his stomach. He quickly directed his broom downard in a dive and stopped with enough time and space to jump off of it and run at Taylor as he wrapped his arms around her in greeting. He picked her up and twirled her around as he said, "Hey beautiful!" into her ear. He put her back down and grinned at her, completely ecstatic to be back at school with her.

Taylor could feel her heart begin to beat faster the closer Scorp got, for a moment Taylor thought Scorp was going to crash his broom right into her, but before she could even proccess the thought she was being lifted off the ground and spun around. She let out a tiny squeak of surprise and blushed furiously at Scorp's words and her grin possibly got wider, even though she would have thought it impossible to do so.

When she was placed firmly on the ground, she wrapped her arms around Scorp's neck and placed a soft kiss on his lips. "Mr. Fantastic." She said in a way of greeting, her grin still on her face, she knew it was silly to say she had missed him in the time between her visit to Ireland and school, but it was true. He was constantly on her mind these days and who could blame her?

"How were your holidays?" She asked, her arms still around Scorpius and the smile still on her face, it didnt look like it was leaving soon.

Scorpius mirrored the grin she wore in response to her way of greeting him. He eagerly returned the kiss she gave him, even though they has kissed a couple of times already, the feeling still gave him goosebumps as if he were kissing her for the first time. Though he would never forget their first kiss on the beach back at her place. Sometimes if he closed his eyes and thought hard enough, he could smell the saltwater and it'd bring a smile to his face.

He was brought back to the present when she asked how his holidays were. "They were fine," he said with a shrug, indicating that he was talking about after she had left. He could've been talking about before he visited her place as well, since nothing interesting had happened then. "Apart from when we saw each other, nothing really happened," he added unnecessarily, a bright smile on his face at the mention of the time they had spent together. It had been short but well spent. In those two days when they had seen each other they had kissed and officially become a couple. It had to be his best summer yet, all thanks to those two days. "How were yours?" he asked her in return, still not unwrapping his arms from around her waist.

Taylor allowed a small nod when Scorp admitted how his holidays had been, "Mine were the same really." She aswered, nothing exciting to report, there was the fact that her Mum had to meet with her own Mother, but that was it and even then, Taylor wasnt informed of any details. She could live with that fact though, she has her secrets and I have mine. Taylor though before she reluctantly let her arms fall from Scorp's shoulders.

"So, what do you have planned, some friendly flying, or some butt kicking?" Taylor asked playfully, picking up her neglected broom which she had dropped when Knight had picked her up. Leaning her weight against it as she cocked her head in question at Scorp.

Scorpius nodded his head when she said they were the same. He felt her let go of him and though he wished to just keep his arms around her all day he remembered he had invited her flying for a reason. He too released her and picked up his fallen broom off the ground. He laughed out loud at her next comment and said, "Oh is that how it is?" He leaned against his broom and smirked as he said, "Well it was going to be some friendly flying but I don't mind getting competitive." He laughed just to show he was joking because really he didn't think he would be able to concentrate much with Taylor around so flying just for fun seemed good enough for him. He supposed a lap or two wouldn't hurt though.

He mounted his broom once more and grinned at Taylor. "Well no use staying down here," and kicked off the ground. He didn't go too far up in the sky, and once he was satisfied with the height he was at, he leveled himself out and began hovering, knowing Taylor was right behind him. Once she was level with him he ran his fingers unnecessarily through the hair that the wind was pushing back. "So, what's it going to be? Some friendly flying or some butt kicking?" he repeated her words with a smirk on his face.

Taylor laughed and mounted her broom, kicking off firmly and loving the feel of the wind against her face. She leveled herself next to Scorp and she rolled her eyes playfully when his hand went to his hair. He really did do that all the time, but it only made Taylor like Scorp even more. It was what had kick started her crush back in the Dungeons, so she really had nothing against it.

Taylor chuckled at Scorp sending her words right back at her. She thought about it for a moment, the concept of a challenge or just some friendly time in the sky with Knight. She knew what her decision was instantly. She steered her broom closer to Scorpius's and then bumped into him slightly with a grin. "Maybe just some friendly flying... For today." She raised an eyebrow cheekily before setting off at an average speed.

Scorpius looked at her with his grey eyes, waiting for her decision and laughed when she playfully bumped into him and said some friendly flying would do fine. He laughed lightly, glad that she had chosen that since he wasn't in the mood for competition, just flying. "Ah good choice," he said, "I didn't want to have to beat my new girlfriend in a race," he teased her, sticking his tongue out playfully.

When she took off he leaned forward, staying beside her as he laughed. "So, did Hoshi ever tell you about broom skating?" he asked her just to make conversation. He remembered when he, Sam, and Hoshi with new orange hair had been out here bruising themselves up as they tried skating on their brooms. He was then reminded of his skateboard that had been left in the Borely Mansion, never to be seen again. After what happened at Hoshi's birthday party, he was never stepping foot in there again. That was partly a reason why his summer hadn't been quite as fun while he was home alone. He no longer had a skateboard. When his mother had asked about it he simply said he had broken it because he didn't want to worry her with the truth.

Taylor's heart did a backflip at Scorp's words. Girlfriend. It was still so new, but oh so great. She stuck her tongue out at him in return. The conversation then unfolded as Knight asked if Taylor knew about broom skating. "Its not that dangerous stunt where you stand on your broom is it?" Taylor asked with a laugh, Hoshi had been inventing said sport when Taylor had first met her.

Speaking of Hoshi, Taylor wondered when her and Scorp were going to tell their friends about them being a couple. She said as much. "When do you recon we tell everyone?" She knew Scorp would know what she meant and she looked over at him, trying to look serious, but her green eyes sparkling with happiness.

Scorpius grinned when he described it and nodded his head vigorously. "That's exactly what it is," he said with a chuckle. He had been half tempted to try it again right now, but he hadn't been good back when Hoshi had first taught him, so he doubted he'd be any better now months later without practice. "Wait how did you know about it?" he asked curiously.

When she asked when they should tell their friends Scorpius pursed his lips in thought, slowing his flying considerably, barely moving at all really. "I don't think it'll be too hard for them to figure it out," he said with a sly grin on his face, finally coming to a halt, and leaning over to give Taylor a kiss on the lips.

Taylor looked at Scorp sceptically, hoping he wouldnt attempt the dangerous stunt. She remembered when Aeon had tried to do so at her house and she wasnt able to concerntrate on her own flying with worry. When Scorpius didnt try anything and only asked her a question, Taylor smiled and answered, "Hoshi was inventing it when I first met her." She chuckled.

Scorp then started to fly slower, wanting to keep the same pace, Taylor slowed her movements as well. Raising an eyebrow when he almost stopped, Taylor looked over to see him grinning. She melted as they stopped and he kissed her. Taylor's head rang and her heart missed a beat. She never thought she could feel so giddy simply by being with someone, but Scorp proved her wrong. She lingered on his kiss, before pulling away going back for one last peck and then her lips broke into a wide lazy smile.

Scorpius chuckled lightly when Taylor said that she had met Hoshi when she was inventing the sport but didn't continue the subject anymore, since his mind seemed to be on other things. After the two had parted from their kiss, Scorpius mirrored Taylor's smile, loving the feeling he got in his stomach every time they kissed, he hoped it never went away. "Perhaps flying wasn't the best idea, I was about to fall off my broom," he laughed lightly.

Taylor chuckled and welcomed the small blush that tinted her cheeks. She then realised the grip on her own broom was extremely tight in the hopes of not falling off herself.

Glancing down, Taylor noted they werent too high off the ground, so she grinned her own sly smile and said, "Hold still." She backed her broom up a bit, before she flung her leg over her own broom and onto the back of Scorp's, letting her Nimbus 2001 drop to the ground. She wrapped her hands around Scorp's midsection and chuckled. "I think I prefer this arrangement." She grinned.

Scorpius looked at her with his eyebrows raised in curiosity, a normal look for the Ravenclaw, and laughed as he nodded his head, trying to hold still. As soon as he realized what Taylor was doing, he gripped his broom tighter with both hands, hoping to keep it steady for her. Once she was fully on his broom and had let hers fall to the ground Scorpius couldn't help but grin widely with happiness. "I think I like this arrangement too, I'm surprised I didn't think of it sooner," he admitted with a laugh. He let go of his broom with one hand, Taylor's hands were wrapped around his midsection so he placed his own free hand over hers protectively. "You better hold on," he said with a grin as he leaned forward slightly, starting off at a slow speed. He wondered how flying with two people on a broom would feel.

Taylor laughed and it turned into a gentle fond smile when she felt Scorp's hand over her own. He told her to hold on and Taylor replied. "Dont worry, I will." She gave him a small squeeze to confirm her words.

They started off slowly, to get the feel of two people on one broom, but after some time, Taylor gave Scorp another squeeze. "Where's your dangerous streak." She almost whispered, with a grin from ear to ear. She was ready to speed it up, she felt safe with Scorp and knew he wouldnt let anything happen to her and vice versa.

Scorpius smiled to himself mostly as Taylor gave him a small squeeze of reassurance as they flew at a safe speed. He was so afraid of doing something wrong that would end up hurting her even though the feeling of two people flying on one broom didn't take very long to get used to. He laughed at her challenge and smirked as he said, "If you're sure..." He was still very worried for her safety but shook it off, knowing that he and Taylor were both good fliers so he needn't worry. He leaned forward onto his Sienna Storm, the speed accelerating considerably faster than they had been going before. He did a basic circle around the pitch before he began to zig-zag through the hoops, all the while holding on to Taylor's hands.

Taylor felt free and happy and giddy and just plain mushy as they sped up. The air against her face tinting it, along with the natural blush that always came about when Scorp was around. The feel of her arms around Scorp, with his hand holding her own. She leaned forward more and placed her chin on Scorp's shoulder, not being able to get over the feeling of how lucky she was. Scorpius was truly a great guy. Taylor was aware of her cheeks starting to ache from the never ending smile that was plastered on every time the boy was around.

(Lame ^ Couldnt think of anything :p )

After flying around a bit, Scorpius had felt Taylor's chin on his shoulder and he couldn't help but grin to himself. It seemed surreal that this was happening, as if it were a dream, however the familiar stinging in his cheeks as he flew against the cold wind was a reminder that he wasn't in fact dreaming at all. After a while he slowed down to a stop, hovering right in midair as he turned his head to look over his shoulder and give Taylor a light peck. Things were going so perfectly for the Ravenclaw right now it almost scared him, as if something bad were going to happen to him soon enough, or worse, Taylor or any of his friends. However Scorpius didn't dwell on it as he concealed his fears with a kiss from Taylor, which always made him cheer up no matter what.

[sorry it's lame too :x ]

Taylor raised an eyebrow when they slowed down and came to a stop, but as Scorp kissed her, her eyebrow dropped into place. Her grin switching into a light smile. Her and Knight simply sat and looked at each other for a moment, she could see the cogs turning in his head, but all was forgetten when their lips met again. Taylor's head went light and she was aware her grip had slightly tightened on Scorp, if she let go now, she would probably fall.

Pulling back she grinned lazily. "I think maybe we should go back to the ground. Im going to fall soon." She admitted with a small laugh. Back to reality. Her mind stated as an afterthought. She couldnt believe how well everything had gone, it didnt feel real.

Scorpius felt Taylor's hands around him tighten their grip and he too made sure his hand was firmly held over hers. Imagine if we fell? he thought before unnoticably shuttering at the horrendous thought. He mirrored Taylor's grin and nodded his head in agreement at her suggestion of going back down to the ground. "Yeah, I'm getting a little too distracted to focus on flying," he admitted with a sly grin. Somehow he knew that they wouldn't be doing much flying when he asked her out here. "Hold on," he warned her once more, before dipping his broom downward in a dive. He made sure not to go too fast, even if he was being overly cautious, it didn't matter anyway because they were getting off anyway. Once they were within hopping distance to the ground, Scorpius hovered, his feet lightly touching the grass beneath them as he waited for Taylor to hop off first.

Taylor grinned back at Scorp's comment. I know how you feel. She thought with a small laugh. Scorpius told Taylor to hold on and Taylor kept her firm grasp.

They reached the ground and Taylor reluctantly let go of Scorp and swung her leg over the broom, standing still to adjust to the feeling of being on the ground again. She pulled out her wand and accio'd her broom that was still lying in the middle of the pitch over to her. She glanced down to see the clasp of her necklace that Scorpius had gotten her for Christmas was around the font, so she fixed it up and then threw a grin at Scorp.

Once Taylor was safely off his broom, Scorpius too, jumped off his Sienna Storm and let it fall softly to the ground. He looked up and saw Taylor grinning at him so he smile back, before ruffling his hair, rather unnecessary yet again seeing as the wind had done that enough for him while flying. The Ravenclaw took a seat on the grass, and invited Taylor to sit with him, before he lay completely flat on his back and put his hands behind his head, staring up at the blue sky above them, hoping Taylor would join.

Taylor rolled her shoulders, shutting her eyes as she did so. When she opened them again she noticed Scorpius lying on the grass. She walked over to join him, lying somewhat on the side, so she could curl her legs up, but her gaze was still on the sky. She took in a deep breath and let it out slowly. She felt so peaceful, dispite the adrenaline of riding on a broom.

After about a minute or two of staring at the sky, Taylor threw her hand out, so it lay on Scorp's chest palm up. A silent hint for him to take it.

Scorpius chuckled lightly when Taylor threw her hand out on top of his chest. He grinned at her and brought one of his hands from behind his head and took it in his, intertwining his fingers with hers. He shut his eyelids momentarily, taking in the entire moment, how he could feel the cool air whip around him against the grass, how Taylor's hand fit perfectly in his like a puzzle piece, and how even when the wind blew he could smell the sweet scent of her perfume. He grinned and opened up his eyes again, taking in the clear blue sky above him with the perfect vision of Taylor right beside him. "I know I'm supposed to be a Ravenclaw and all," he began, "but I really couldn't care less about school." His statement might've sounded pretty random and out of nowhere so he continued, "But now I know that coming to school is so worth it," he grinned at her. She was worth it, all his friends were.

[Sorry it sounds so sappy, I'm trying this new writing technique for when I have writers block  ]
