Winter in Hogwarts New Zealand was definitely warmer than what the Hufflepuff Prefect was used to. Peaking at about 15 degrees Celsius, Proserpina Laurent felt like taking a long walk. The air was nippy, but it was nice enough for her to come out and enjoy it! She breathed in the fresh air and started the walk. The sixth year was glad that the OWLs were over, and she could drop a few classes. Now she could really focus on what she wanted to do. She was going to become a healer, and she definitely could not wait to become one! The Hufflepuff Prefect looked around the lawn, a few first years running by and other years that she could not tell by the looks of them. Her brown eyes were sparkling with happiness right now. Everything was just right in the world. Well, not all right, not with her sister off in the circus with some boy, and the one that she was crushing on had graduated already. She was utterly alone. Nothing to distract her from her classes or Quidditch. Everything could have been falling apart, but Proserpina was determined not to allow such a thing to happen. This year, she was going to have the best year in the world! She was so determined, her little heart fluttered in her chest. She was becoming a young woman, and her dad really got upset when he realized just how much growing up his twin daughters had done. Identical, but so very different at the same time. Philippa was really sporty, while Proserpina was and she also loved doing arts and crafts. She loved doing things with her hands, and had to keep them up to shape since she messed with wood a lot, it could really damage her skin.
She thought about taking a trip up to the owlery and send a letter to Romaine. Maybe one to Philippa too. But to Romaine first since she was still a little mad at her sister for leaving her here all alone to be a single Prefect against the world. She missed her other half. She didn't know what to do without her. Sighing, she walked along the lawns, looking down and brushing her wavy, gold locks behind her ear. She was very relaxed today when it came to style. Everything about her screamed that she didn't know what fashion was. She could dress if she wanted to, but that was just not who she was. Proserpina was definitely a person that dressed what she wanted, when she wanted. She was definitely not a girly girl. Proserpina wondered if that was what her dad wanted her and Pippa to be. Little princesses. She sighed and she walked to the rosebush. As far as she researched, this was made for someone that died while they were attending here, years and years ago. Proserpina looked over the bush, noticing that it was not bloomed yet. It would soon though! She always admired the scenery. Everything about this place was amazing. Since she arrived, she loved magic. Proserpina continued to walk along, debating on writing to Romaine, but what would she put?
