A little bit of faith is needed

[Faith Lovelight]

Faith strutted down into the dungeons, she hadn't been down here in a while, she sat down on the platform to see if any first year would come and duel her, after all she wanted to be a close resident of the duelling chamber, today she wasn't going to show mercy. She was going to duel.

 

[Hoshi Icchihara]

Hoshi entered the dueling chamber with twirling her wand in her hand. She was bored and looking for an excuse to use magic without getting in trouble. She had been seeing to much of the inside of teachers offices lately. Hoshi shook her head. The price one payed to have fun. She was thing of the spells that they had learned over the corse of the year. She had to practice out side of class because, let's face it, Hoshi was not the type to actually pay attention in class. Hoshi was pretty good though.

Hoshi saw that there was another girl here and grinned. She looked about as ready for a duel as she was. "Need a partner there partner?" She asked in her normal good natured way. She didn't know why but she was almost always cheerful when she was going to get in a fight.

"I might be in need" she replied, standing up, removing her wand from her pocket, she walked onto the centre of platform, bidding for the girl the follow, she didn't know if she wanted to duel, Faith didn't care, all she wanted was her to duel with this girl, of whom she had seen in her lessons, it would be interesting to know what it'd be like battling another student, properly.

 

[Hoshi Icchihara]

Hoshi followed her chunky boots making soft thud sounds as she pulled herself up. Hoshi normally stood at a 4' 11" but in her usual boots she stood at five feet even. Even so she had a way of looking people straight in the eye. "Hoshi Koshiba by the way." She said bowing so the duel could start. She would wait for the other firl to start it because it was only right.

The Hufflepuff smirked "I'm Faith" she smiled, bowing then walking to the end, she rose her wand and began "Everte Statum!" she stated with a flourish of her wand, she had learnt the spell in charms and was pretty good it it. She watched as the orange bolt projected itself at the girl.

Hoshi floished her wand and called out. "Protego!" blocking the spell. "Nice to meet ya." She said grinning like mad. Her eyes lit up making them look a light amber color instead of the deep brown color that they normally where. "Expelliarmus!" She cryed testing out what she had been practicing in secrat since they leaned that charm. She looked to see if the girl was hit.

Faith couldn't manage to stop the spell, her wand flew out of her hand, she gasped, and looked at Hoshi. She didn't let this deter, it made her more stronger, she whipped her wand and postured herself "stupefy" she yelled, the red bolt projected itself at the girl in front of her.

Hoshi tryed to defend again but this time the spell when thought. Hoshi was sent back a bit as she hit the floor compleatly nocked out by the spell. Her last thought before the world went silent was This girl is good.
