Closed A House Party

Corentin had laid awake for only a little longer after she'd gone to sleep and only somewhat stirred hen she started moving. Sleep however held firm to him and other than adjust himself slightly on the bed and giving a soft hum he didn't actual awake or open his eyes. His hold on her tightened ever so slightly.

Dreya tensed a moment when she felt an arm tighten around her. She turned her head slowly, breath catching and heart stuttering at the sight of Corentin sleeping so peacefully beside her. She couldn't help but stare a little, before reaching up and brushing the back of her hand gently against his jaw. "Cory?" She murmured, voice rough. She swallowed and tried again. "Cory, wake up," She whispered, sounding a little better.

Corentin hummed slightly at the touch and the voice. He opened his eyes blearily, and looked around the room for a moment, blinking as the world came into focus. "Don't whisper, it strains your voice more," he said tiredly. He reached over to his side and for his wand, and with the wand, conjured a glass of water for her. "Here," he said.

Dreya hummed softly, taking the offered drink. She propped up on one elbow and drank the water slowly. She felt a little bit better. She set the glass down before snuggling back against Cory. "Thank you. Good morning," She murmured, sighing softly as the slight throbbing of her head seemed to recede.

Corentin gave a little smile as she sipped the water. "I have hangover cure, if you'd rather that?" he asked, sure that if she was feeling a bit rough she would enjoy being able to take something which would in very short time, solve the issues she was having.

Dreya hummed softly. "Maybe here in a bit," She murmured. "Would it be alright if we just stayed here and cuddled for a little longer?" She asked, peeking up at him. "Or, um... do you need to go? You probably do," She sat up, rubbing her fingers against her temple. "I'll just go home, thank you for a fun night," She offered shyly, looking to see if she still had her shoes on.

Corentin was nodding as she asked to snuggle with him, before she seemed to immediately dismiss it. "Give me a second to answer, Dreya," he said his voice lightly teasing as he reached up to draw her back. "My brother has my son, and I'm sure can manage a little more without me," he said softly. "We should stay here a little longer,"

Dreya paused when Cory reached out for her. She hesitated, before letting out a little sigh. She let him draw her back. "Well, if you're sure..." She offered shyly, laying down with him and curling back up in his side. She shut her eyes, letting herself relax slowly. "Last night was nice," She offered, voice soft. "Headache aside."

Corentin let her lean in, let her be close to him and he gave a little smile, the feeling was nice. Having her be so close to him. She seemed, in his mind, to fit exactly next to him, where he remembered his late wife, never. "It was nice, it's nice to get out," he said in agreement.

Dreya smiled, hiding her face in his neck, letting her arm sneak over his torso. "Thank you for inviting me out," She offered gently. "I don't really go anywhere much, if its not to visit family or to work." Feeling a little bold wrapped up in his warmth, Dreya took a little bit of initiative and pressed a soft, tiny kiss to the side of his neck.

Corentin gave a little shrug, though she didn't really see it, with her face hidden in his neck. "Well, I'l glad I could invite you out," he told her with a warmth in his tone. "How about you sleep a little more?" he suggested.

Dreya couldn't help but yawn as he suggested she go back to sleep. She smiled and snuggled against him. "Sleep is nice," She agreed, already starting to doze back off again. "You too?" She asked, pressing another feather-light kiss against his skin.
