Coming back to school for the new year was the greatest feeling in the world. As he had stepped through the doors to the castle, a sense of relief had washed over the fourteen year old boy. He was actually back! Jeremy paused for a moment before quickly rushing up the steps, not stopping for air until he was in his room and on his bed. As the boy stared at the ceiling, a sense of appreciation filled him. This was home now and the thought that he almost hadn't made it back was frightening. "Thankyouthankyouthankyou" he whispered to the air.

He almost hadn't been allowed to return to the castle for the semester. He'd gone to his mother's home as soon as he'd finished his final exam and it had been much better than he thought it would be. His sister, at the last moment, had to decided to go home with a friend, so it had been just him and his mom. By day, she'd been away at work, but she had come home every night to hang out with Jeremy. And, he'd realized that she was actually fun in her own way. That is, until his grades had arrived. When his mother had seen the two As he'd received, her friendly demeanor had gone away and she'd messaged Jeremy's dad. It had ended in an argument of course before both of his parents turned on him with their yelling and threats to remove him from school and homeschool him again. Only Jeremy's repeated promises that he could and would do better had saved him and he had the feeling that his dad was the only reason he hadn't been told to step down from quidditch. He knew he was still thisclose to losing it though, so Jeremy was on the straight and narrow now.

Getting up off the bed, Jeremy made his way down to the garden, his favorite place in the school. That whole debacle had also made Jeremy think about a lot of things, especially how he had been treating some people. When he thought he might not see Logan again, Jeremy had been beyond sad. Logan was his best bud, his brother practically. As the flowery smell of the garden wafted towards him, Jeremy stuffed his hands in his pocket and took in the beauty. In some ways, it was like he was seeing the castle for the first time. Every little detail was like new and he couldn't help but appreciate it all.

Mass Art College in Massachusetts was where Victor spent his entire summer getting affiliated with the school and locals to the city of Boston. If he were to describe the school an one word: it made him think of fun right away. Not because he will be able to enjoy living on campus with regular muggels without having too use magic, he was finally getting a different experience in the muggel world. He had no means to dislike the wizarding at all, he just thought it was time for a different atmosphere for the now young adult, he wanted to gain more experience weather it was the wizarding or muggel world, Victor was quick to jump on anything available to him. Now to tell the governor and his mother of California. He will speak to his father first and than his mom, he was pretty sure they will like to see him more in there world than here, seven years here was far to long.

Victor back to Hogwarts to finish up the last term of his Hogwarts years was a little saddening to him. He will miss this place loads. He will miss the friends he met along the way and all that he gain here. The school had been a safe haven for seven years straight. He felt overwhelm with deep emotions. Sad but happy, scared but delighted. It was hard to pinpoint where he stand now. He made it this far, two relationship and now single, that part he really was okay with. Girls will forever be complicated to the man, he will never understand their complex world. That's fine. He got many years to figure them out or not. Compare to his exs, he was a square, now it was his time to shine. His artistic side been hidden for to long, he will always be quiet but this side of him needed to shine. He needed to show this side and Mass Art will be the school for him to do so.

Surveying the grounds with a pigskin in hand, Victor tossed it up in the air, the football spiral down right into his hand. He tossed back up a few times, till a movement caught the wind and he saw a boy much younger than him appeared to bne wandering along. His hair was the first thing he recognize, Victor ran up ahead to Jeremy Thorn walk alone.. "Hey little bro! What's up?" he threw the ball at the boy to catch, both friends, co-member of the muggels club, house rival, were friends. He enjoy the company with Jeremy, he's like his best friend back home. Oh yeah, his friend from home will be attending the same school as Victor, how sweet is that?

Jeremy looked up, his hands automatically going up so that he could catch the ball and bring it in towards his chest. He smiled at the person who had thrown it. It was Victor, the same guy who had taught him how to catch a football. Tossing it back, he answered "Nothing much. How about you, Vic? Did you have a good holiday?" Of all of the Gryffindors he knew, Victor was the one that he liked the most. The guy was the epitome of cool in Jeremy's eyes. He could play nearly every muggle sport possible and he was always easygoing and in a good mood. If there was anyone he wanted to see right now, it was him. He was probably one of the only people he knew who wasn't upset with him. Jeremy knew that he had a lot of apologizing to do to other people, but he still didn't know the best way to go about it. That's why he was outside by himself right now.

As he waited for Victor to toss the football back to him, Jeremy wondered if he should ask the older guy for advice. He was older and had probably been through a similar experience before, so he might have some good advice for Jeremy. And, he felt comfortable enough with him that he didn't think Victor would think he was weird for asking. "So...your last semester. Are you ready to graduate?" he asked the older guy. He couldn't imagine how he would feel when it was his time to leave the school. He loved the castle. It was his favorite place to be.
