Closed A First Dance

[Brynn Brightsong]

Brynn was excited to go to her first Yule Ball. She was dressed in what she thought was a really cute outfit. She walked down to the Great Hall, looking around excitedly at all of the decorations. Once the headmaster had finished speaking, she was quick to walk over to the snacks table, humming softly to herself as she perused it. She felt a little nervous around so many people, but she found that lowering her focus to just herself and what she was doing was enough for her to keep it together. At least for now. She poured herself a drink before she started to look at what they had, debating between a dance first or something to eat first.

 

[Logan Ashworth]

Logan didn't think dances were all that interesting, but he had heard the snacks were very good. He had grabbed quite a few before making his way over to Brynn, who stood nearby with a drink. He grinned at her, then held up a piece of cake. "Hungry?" He asked her, wondering if she liked all this stuff.

Brynn jumped a little at the voice, turning to see Logan. She smiled, accepting the cake he offered. "Hi Logan! Thanks." She looked around. "Should we sit down to eat?" She asked, already starting to walk over towards the closest table.

Logan nodded at ther suggestion. "Sure. You're not here with anyone then?" He asked, though it was pretty obvious. Most first years probably wouldn't have dates, he figured. He sat down and took a big bite of his own cake. "I though this would be boring, but at least the food is good."

 

[Brynn Brightsong]

Brynn shook her head at his question. "I am not," She told him. "You aren't either?" She asked, sitting across from him. "In my experience, food makes almost everything better." She giggled a little shyly.
