Rose found a quiet, soft patch of grass near the entrance to the Courtyard and steel down, her fingers fidgeting with the hem of her sleeve. She had been wanting to catch up with Eury for a while now but wasn’t sure how to start, her usual confidence melting away in the face of her own nervousness. She wanted to know if they were giving Heta Omega another shot this year and she hadn't had a chance to ask her over the break, but if Eury wasn't going, then neither was Rose. When she was finally spotted Eury rounding the bend, she gave a small wave, her throat clearly slightly at the sight of her cousin. Now she wouldn't be alone and people wouldn't come and talk to her. “Eury!” she called softly, her voice barely more than a whisper, yet loud enough for her cousin to hear. She gave a timid smile, a little relieved to see her cousin’s familiar face. “I wasn’t sure if you’d want to meet up today… you know, with everything going on…” As Eury approached, Rose felt herself start to relax, the anxiety that had been gnawing at her fading slightly. “Come and sit with me,” she invited, patting the grass beside her.

Somehow, Eurydice had been finding it difficult to meet up with Rose this semester. She didn't know why, especially since the pair of them shared a class, but she supposed it would be difficult to meet up before or after Astronomy. She'd attempted to wait for Rose one time outside of the Common Room only to find Tori instead. And she just didn't like thinking about that interaction. They had finally managed to talk enough to let each other know that they could hang out in the Courtyard. It was with much relief when Eury saw Rose sitting down on the grass. She wasn't much of a fan, but Rose already knew about her preferences so she didn't think it was weird that she'd brought a blanket to sit on. "Hey," she greeted with a grin. "Well, of course I would. I've actually been looking for you the last few days," she explained as she placed a blanket on top of the grass and sat on it. "Do you want to share the blanket?" she asked her cousin just in case even if she looked quite comfortable sitting on the grass.
