Ursula Kaster had just about enough of it all. None of her children seemed very much inclined to be married at all. Was it really so much to ask to accept a contract of marriage to a man or woman she deemed worthy? It wasn't like she was picking them randomly. She'd been sure to give them thorough background checks. What made it all worse was that they seemed to go out of their way to ruin all of these dates that she'd set up too. Kiefer was the only good child she had. He'd accepted his contract with little to no fuss and they were still married today! Helene had been difficult and in the end she'd gone off and married some random man that Ursula hadn't even met until the day of the wedding. No, she definitely wasn't happy. "Ingrid ! Front-und Center jetzt bitte!"* Ursula had a plan. She'd recently been in contact with a dear school friend of hers, the Lady Marian from London. Her son was not much older than Ingrid and was luckily, for Ursula anyway, unmarried as of yet. Ursula had immediately jumped at the chance to send an offer of marriage to her and when she had gotten a response back, she had jumped for joy. Wilfred mostly went along with her whims, which she was glad of, or none of her children would yet be married. Still, she had to admit that she wished her children were not all so stubborn.

"Ich muss mit dir redden . Jetzt hier!"** It was true that Ingrid did not yet know of the match, but she was about to find out and hopefully the girl would get her butt down here before Jonathon Ramsey arrived. After all, she did believe that Ingrid should know something of her future before she was set upon it. Though this also gave her little time to refuse. She knew that Ingrid was going to be opposed to this idea, but with Carter in New Zealand and Phillip no longer speaking to her, Ingrid was all she had left. Though she didn't want to lose her, she also hadn't approved of those silly relationships Ingrid had been into. Callum, the latest, was, in Ursula's expert opinion, a pig. She did not like him and she was never going to. Anything she could do to keep her baby girl away from people like that, she would do. "Ingrid !" Dear Merlin, where even was that girl?

*Ingrid! Front and center please.
**I must speak with you. Now, please!

Ingrid frequently wondered why she still stayed with her mother. Especially when they didn't get along so well. To be honest, she could have gotten her own place. She had a stable job and she didn't think that she would be home that much to even have that big of an expense. Besides, she could just rent an apartment for herself. Or she and Callum could start living together. There was a large number of possibilities offered to her, though right now, she was still under the roof of the Kaster manor and living with her mother. Obviously, that was a fate that she wanted to escape but was unlucky enough in being able to do so. Thus, the starting point of her current problems will probably always be her mother. And so, when she heard her name being called by her mother as she was doing her paperwork, the woman couldn't help but groan. She would have shouted back that she's doing work, but then her mother just had to call her again. So, she gave up.

The blonde fixed up her desk before heading to where her mother was calling her attention. Ingrid had to wonder though what he mother wanted to talk to her about right now. Didn't her mother know that she had work to do? She worked for the ministry and that was not an easy job in case her mother didn't know! The woman had to restrain herself from covering her ears as her name once again resonated throughout the walls of the manor. "Mother, there is no need for the yelling, I am right here," Ingrid said as she tried to sound less irritated than she actually is, although proving to be quite hard. Especially when her mother is being extremely difficult and demanding. "What did you want to talk about?" she asked almost impatiently. After all, there was no time to waste. Especially with all the paperwork she had. Hopefully this conversation would go well, though from following the pattern of conversations she had with her mother, she already knew that this would not end well for her.
