?Feliz cumplea?os a t?!

<r><COLOR color="#090"><s></s>Natasha Bell was not very happy today. It was her thirteenth birthday, and she still had no idea who her real parents were, not that she minded too much. Delani was a brillient parent, even if she was a little hare-brained. No, what bothered her was not as important as finding out who her parents were. She could not find her favourite rainbow tank top.<br/>

Yes, Natasha's problems weren't very important, but in her mind it mattered. Natasha went down to the common room, and out the portrait hole to get some breakfast. It was Christmas day, so most people would be either be still asleep, or opening presents. How fabulous that everyone else got presents on her birthday, not.<br/>

Natasha entered the Great Hall wearing <URL url="http://s5.tinypic.com/2jacm4o.jpg"><s></s>a white t-shirt that said 'This girl can shop'<e></e></URL> and black jeans. She was wearing two plastic necklaces, one red and one green, that she had bought for two dollars back home. Nazza sat down and poured herself and orange juice, wondering if anyone else would decide to join her.<e>

Artemis shuffled into the Great Hall, trailing a disheveled bunch of humming daisies, now whispering sadly. The little faces on the daisies gave her a small smile each, as if to cheer her up, but nothing could today. The walk with Sern into the forest was a disaster yet again, and she so wanted his company now. Looking for a few of her friends, she wandered over to the Hufflepuff house table in search of Clara and Andrea, but neither could be seen.
She clambered onto the seat with a small amount of difficulty. Being so tiny was such a burden. The Great Hall was practically empty on Christmas Day, and she had not yet received a single present from anyone. Those owls took their time. Looking up, she found she was seated next to a girl a year older than her, dressed pleasantly in bright colours that Artemis liked. Artemis, ever cheerful, gave her a small but bright smile, and said
"Merry Christmas!".

Natasha turned her head, and saw a rather small girl clambering onto the seat beside her. Natasha was pleased to have company, and glad she could meet someone new. Nowadays, Natasha didn't get out of her dorm as often as she would have liked. "Merry Christmas." she said, equally as brightly. "Natasha Bell, second year Hufflepuff, and unfortunate enough to have her birthday on Christmas." she said cheerfully, hiding a smile.

Artemis chuckled merrily.
"Oh dear, all those presents missed!"
By way of sympathy, she gave her a drooping daisy. At the sight of Natasha, the little face on the daisy lit up, and all at once the daisy began humming away, straightening its stem and waving the little petals about. Artemis looked at it brightly.
"I do believe it likes you!"
Suddenly she remembered that she had been introduced.
"Oh, forgive me, forgetting my manners. Artemis Blackmoore-Yearling, first year Ravenclaw" she beamed at Natasha.
