Slytherin Quidditch Practice Y51 S1

Sybil approached the hoops and threw the quaffle, but her shot was blocked.
 
Zeke was just about to score when the quaffle was rudely swiped from him by the captain. He felt smug when her goal still missed. Zeke retrieved the quaffle for another go, and held onto it tighter this time.
 
Zeke’s grip on the quaffle was far too tight that when he finally threw, it sailed forward but instead of reaching the middle hoop as intended, it dropped way too low and nowhere near any hoop.
 
Luke smacked a bludger as it came his way, aiming for the Chaser with the Quaffle, but watched as it curved off to hit @Alana Cosgrove instead.

Gaia was glad when two chasers took their shots, both either completely missing or getting blocked by yours truly. After Zeke’s attempt Gaia retrieved the Quaffle and threw it back into play.
 
Luke was feeling pretty proud of himself, when a second bludger came his way and he flung it straight at the Keeper this time @Gaia Athanasiou

Gaia was keeping track of the Chasers when she felt a collision on her thigh. The pain flared all over her leg and her hand slammed on top of the spot to massage softly as her eyes searched for the Beater that was responsible. Turns out it was that little classmate of Eris'. Huffing the Slytherin took her eyes from the boy and refocused on the Chasers once again.
 
Luke battered his eyelashes at the keeper, only to immediately do it again.

Gaia wished she had a bat of her own, when she felt a second collision on the same damn spot, so that she could send that stupid ball hurtling right back at the second year. She sent what she hoped was a death glare Lucas', or whatever his name was, way before shaking it off and focusing on the Chasers. That pest of a Beater better focus on the opposite team SEEKERS next game not the Keepers.
 
Should he do it again? Luke debated going for a third round at Gaia but the glare he was getting from the Keeper was intimidating. He smacked another bludger straight at @Zeke Baros instead. Perhaps beginners luck was a thing..

Gaia huffed when the Beater actually hit someone else this time. It only made her a tiny bit happier that it was Zeke, she was still a bit bitter about the whole ball thing with Rosé, not that she'd ever admit it out loud though.
 
James continued searching for the snitch.
 
Gaia rolled her neck as she kept track of the Chasers and where they were with the Quaffle.
 
James didn't find the snitch.
 
Alana didn't expect to get his by a bludger but it smacked her on the arm and she held it in place for a moment before she resumed hunting for a bludger.
 
James didn't catch the snitch.
 
Gaia was growing quite bored of the lack of Quaffles flying towards the hoops. She only hoped the Chasers would be more eager to scare in Gryffindor’s hoops in a few weeks for the game.
 
Gaia sighed, slightly bored but not complaining. She did wish though that someone would try to score soon, if only so she could block it.
 
Luke was swinging his bat around aimlessly, not even watching where the bludgers were. Hitting one straight at @June Parish hadn't been intentional and he only snapped his head in her direction after feeling the impact shoot down his arm.

Zeke grunted when he was hit by a bludger but he wasn't the only one as this Luke kid appeared to be taking out half the team. Once he was feeling a little less sore, Zeke swooped in and grabbed the quaffle again.
 
Gaia noticed signs of life in Zeke and instantly readied herself for when he'd make his way over to the hoops.
 
James didn't catch anything.
