I first found HNZ back in 2011 after a different HP RPG I used to frequent died. That site was set in Australia, so when I found HNZ, I guess I thought, "New Zealand? Close enough." (My apologies to all the Aussies and Kiwis on the site.) Although I registered an account at the time, I never...

What has been: Like Amanda, my favorite memories all revolve around staying up way too late to chat with others or post in threads and games (Quidditch, of course, but also Werewolf). I have one PM conversation with over 4,000 messages, which is wild What could have been: As much as I admire...

I think I joined my first forum when I was 9. In the subsequent 19 years, I've watched a lot of forums close or die of inactivity. But HNZ definitely hits the hardest. I've known of its existence for so long that it feels like a part of my childhood is ending. Forum spaces are so rare these days...

I wasn't going to bother with posting mine, but then I saw yours, @Professor Adorah Zumwalt I was also obsessed with the Everything to Everyone EP  I keep my HNZ playlists on a separate account so my song suggestions/Wrapped don't get tainted by all of Celia's angsty dark pop and...

The good news: I got to visit Rapa Nui, so if one of my characters ever decides to run away on that particular History of Magic field trip, I can write about it accurately :P The bad news: I realized just how much I missed traveling, and I may have booked another trip for the end of November...
