Are You Like Your Character??

[Alyssa Chevalier]

I don't know if they already have one of these on here, But I was wondering how many of you are actually like your character here in HNZ. Are you completely the same, or totally different??

There are many different types of characters and personality's on this site... and this question had just been nagging at me for awhile. So I just had to ask!!



- To add to this. I'm sort of like my character Alyssa. We have some similarities and some huge differences as well.

Similarities:

* annnnd we can both be extremely sweet until angered.
* We can both appear as extremely large snobs to people.
* We both dislike spiders...a lot.
* We are both very UN-boycrazy...seriously. We very rarely get crushes on guys.


Differences:
- Unlike Alyssa, I'm not graceful at all. I'm probably one of the most ungraceful people you will ever meet.
- Alyssa currently has no siblings, while I have too many.
- Her family is rich...mine arn't as rich.
- and I'm not a wizard. (Darn... ;'( )
- her parents are together...mine arn't.
- She has a really good sense of fashion, I just wear whatever.
- She has a pet owl. I only have a stupid pet cat.
- I'm very shy. Alyssa is anything but.

Hmmmm.

Similarities

both have blue eyes
and were both tall
we both hate spiders

That's about it for similarities...


differences:
my characters mean and i'm not really mean at all
my character is always serious and i'm always laughing and joking around.
he's a wizard..i'm not
he's bad in big crowds...and i'm always in big crowds.
his favorite color is green...mine is dark red.
he's bad with girls...and I'm surprising pretty good with girls.


ummm..there might be more. but I can't think of any more right now.

Similarities
~ We both have long dark hair
~ We both have Chinese eyes

~ We both hate quidditch

Differences
~ Lexi is rich, were just on the middle
~ Lexi has a sister, i don't have
~ Lexi's parents are together, mine's not
~ Lexi's a witch, i'm not

Let's see.....

Similarities with Isabella--
+both brunette
+both slightly sarcastic
+both can turn on the angry side fast, but turn it off just as fast

Differences--
-She thinks she's an only child & I have many siblings!!
-Her parents are together, mine are not
-She's 11 almost 12, I'm 18

Hmmm I can't think of anything right now!!

I'd say she's more like my celebrity/character Blair Waldorf

 

[Kale Thomas]

I guess me and Kale are alike.

Similarities:
> We're both tall. He's about 5'11(I was that tall at 15 lol), I'm 6'5.
> We both have large families.
> We both have a sport that we enjoy. He's a die hard quidditch fan when I surf.
> We both can take a joke.
> Stubborn.
> We both have blue eyes.
> Both of us enjoy sarcasm.
> We both like to eat.

Differences:
- He's from Ireland. I was born in Russia.
- He likes warm weather. I hate it.
- I'm 20. He's 14.
- He's a girl chaser. I'm engaged. lol
- Kale is good at making awkward situations even more awkward.
- He gets jealous easily.
- He talks to make noise. I keep quiet unless I have something to say.
- Kale has attitude problems and doesn't get along with people if he doesn't know them well.
- He pisses people off for the fun of it.
- Mean to younger kids.
- I don't have a big nose.
- I have both of my parents.
- I've never had problems with my ex/girlfriend's parents.

Hmmm...thats quite a list.

 

[Caysi Romance]

Well, me and Caysi are sorta a like.

Similarities
- we both get mad easily.
- have a good attitude at first.
- both Irish, well I'm half.
- happy to meet new people.
- big families.
- both like Quidditch.
- both pale.
- both are tall.

Differences
- her parents are together mine are not.
- she has bright blonde hair, I have dark hair.
- she has green eyes, I have bright blue.
- she's more outgoing than I am.
- she's a bit over dramatic.

Similarities
Me and my character are both really emotional,
We both have siblings called Kayleigh and Alex,
We both are getting two neices pretty soon,
Our birthday is the same,
We are both witches :


Differences
Her parents live in Canada, mine live in England,
Her brother lives in New Zealand, mine doesnt,
She is really pretty, i arnt,
She gets a good guy, i never do.

She learns french, irish and german and I used to learn french but I now just take latin
She lives in Bay of Plenty, I live in Auckland
She's 12, I'm 14
I'm not a witch
She's tall, I'm average.
Her hair is darker brown than mine
I have smaller lips

Similarities:

We both worry too much
We both take martial arts
We both LOVE tofu!!!
We both bottle our emotions in and then end up blowing up in someones face (except I use karate for that )
She has french dissent as do I, but from QC
We both over hear things that people don't want us to hear(ie, if you are talking about me i will hear you or find out one way or another...and i don't do it on purpose!! :O )
We both have cats

Differences:

She is from Germany and moved to London and I am from Canada
She had a rabbit as a child, I did not
She has brown eyes, I have blue
She has brown hair and I have naturally blonde hair (dyed black)
She has been all around Europe and I have not But I will after either highschool or uni
I am sort of an activist, she isn't
I am veggitarian and she still eats meat (yuck)

 

[Violet Bellamy]

Similarities:
- we both panic easily - especially in regards to schoolwork/being late
- we both love to read
- can both speak French
- have two siblings
- live in Brisbane, Australia
- love cats
- fairly shy, but funny (and a little bizarre) after a little while
- same birthday
- both reasonably tall
- awkward about our weights (love food!) :

Differences:
- she has red hair and green eyes, I have brown hair and brown eyes
- she does well in her classes, I'm more average
- she's 13, I'm 17
- she has a brother who is 11 and a sister who is 3, I have 2 sisters who are 3 and 1 respectively.
- she likes music but doesn't play much, I've been learning piano since I was 4!
- she is nicer to people than I am...

Probably more, but eh, my brain is officially dead.

- used to/have two best friends who are both older by a year
- have impeccably good taste in style
- tend to get along better with opposite sex :

- we both have some German ancestry

- we both prefer long and stable relationships over random dating
- we both marvel in the beauty that is Hogwarts New Zealand

Differences:
- he has never seen a motion picture movie, and obviously, I have
- he doesn't like reading much. I love it!
- his grandparents are pricks, mine aren't so much
- he is good looking, me not quite
- he hits off better with people, I don't
- I love animals, he doesn't
- he is fifteen, I am sixteen
- his parents aren't psychos like mine
- and he gets along with his parents better than I do with mine
- he has nice hazel eyes, while I have plain brown ones *shrugs*
- he does not strive to do well in school, and I basically go hard
- I am lazy most of the time, he isn't
- I have great taste in music, while he prefers the genre of classics with some freaky wizard bands too
- and his life is better than mine by far

I am pretty much like my character as I didn't bother to make up some one completely different.

So the only differences are:

She's thin, I'm not.
She's 11, I'm 17
She has straight brown hair, I have wavy/curly brown hair
She's a witch and I'm not

Similarities:

~Complicated Relationship; I'm Not in One
~Kat's 13; I'm 22
~Kat's Parents Are Still Married; Mine Are Not
~Kat's a Witch and Obviously I'm Not

 

[Annamarie Rousseau]

OoOo This could be fun!!!

Similarities:
* We are both African-American
* We are both only children
* We are both American
* We are both live in Boston (I am not orginally from there but I go to school there now)
* We are both are happy and cheerful like 90% of the time
* We are both more likely to put others first
* Both of our grandmother's were teachers
* Her name is similar to my first name

Difference:
* I don't live with my grandmother
* My mother is not dead (parents are still together)
* Annamarie is more outgoing than me
* She is Gryffindor, I am more of a Hufflepuff
* She is more likely to speak her mind than me

Basically, Annamarie is kind of like me but I think her personality is a little bit more stronger than mine. I kind of wish I was more like her lol.

 

[Estrella Drage]

Similarities
We both speak our minds.
We both have brown hair and brown eyes.
We're both average height.
We both pursue our studies.
We both keep our friends close- quality over quantity!
We both come from Minnesota.
We both have the potential to be biotchy.
We're both in the same age range, although soonish my character will be older than me. (I'm almost 17, she's 15.)

Differences
Estrella's a witch, I'm not.
Estrella's Norwegian, I have no Norwegian in me. I am over half Dutch. And then part German, Swiss, French Canadian, Native American, and Irish.
My dad isn't evil, and he doesn't, erm- have many relationships with women.
My parents are both alive but not married.
Estrella only has a brother, whereas I have two younger sisters, two stepbrothers, and a potential stepsister and stepbrother.
My family isn't filthy stinking rich.
I don't have a lot of money.
I'm nicer than she can be. (I think.)
I'm more likely to help someone out.
Estrella was born in Britain, I was born in Minnesota.
I want to travel the world and learn many languages, Estrella is probably going to end up being a professor and sticking closer to home.
I can have mood swings, but not as bad as my character has.
Estrella has been in relationships before, whereas I have never gotten into one. =/

'Suppose I could give this a go...

Similarities
-We are similar ages (Katerina is 16, I am 17).
-We both have dark brown eyes.
-We both have blonde-ish hair.
-We both keep to ourselves, mostly, and tend to bottle up our emotions.
-Once we start talking, we both find it difficult to stop!.
-We both have younger siblings.
-We both lurk in libraries and love to read.
-Neither of us cry much (well, I cry in movies).
-We can both be fairly b!tchy.

Differences
-Katerina is half Russian, half French. I am neither.
-I am lazy, Katerina isn't.
-Katerina's parents are together, mine aren't.
-Katerina is a witch...I am not, obviously.
-I am not as 'refined' as Katerina.
-Katerina has had a relationship, I haven't!
-I am a little friendlier than Katerina.
-Katerina is quite pretty, I'm not!
-Katerina's dad tends to push her a little too hard - in my case it's my mum.
-I don't keep my emotions bottled up to the point of meltdown, as Katerina does...

 

[Kiera Kaster]

I have to admit I am a ton like Kiera

Similarities
-Brown hair
-Brown eyes
-Long brown hair that is naturally curly
- average to short height
-Generally cheerful people
-outgoing
-loves sports
-both do gymnastics though Kiera is better than I am
-honest and straight-forward
-true born Southerners (Georgia!)
-both have younger sisters
-Love of country music as well as oldies
-Love love to read!
-Love animals esp. kitty cats
-We both are pretty flirty
-Confident
-Have only a fear of snakes
-Daredevil

Differences
-My parents are still together and Kiera's are not
-I dont have an older brother
-Kiera studies more than I do
- I am 18 while Kiera is 14
- Kiera trusts other people better than I do

Okay, my turn.....

Similarities:

Both female.
Both good students.
Both love music.
Both drool over Ben Barnes and Johnny Depp. Well, Lily drools over the characters who look like them. lol.
Both are tall.
Both have similar hair colors and styles. (there is a reason that I chose my celeb)
Both are from Wisconsin.
Both hate cold weather but love snow. I know that makes no sense, but we do.
Both are cat people.
Both are fans of the San Francisco 49ers.
Both are members of a sorority.
Both are into watching sports.
Both are flirtatious.
Both are rather silly and sarcastic.
Both are rather responsible.
Both are truly Ravenclaws.
Both hope to be teachers someday soon.
Both have an affinity to purchase pens and papers and school supplies.

Differences:

I am a mom, Lily is obviously not.
I am much older than Lily -- by a lot.
I have been married and am widowed. Lily is simply dating her first boyfriend.
I am not a witch, although I have been called that from time to time.
I am not into playing sports so much, Lily loves to play quidditch and volleyball.
I have a larger waistline than Lily.
I have 2 brothers. Lily has one sister.
I lost my father when I was 12. Lily has both parents still alive.
I am not related in any way to any Potter. Lily is a distant relative of Harry.
I work in a day care, Lily works at Scrivenshafts.
I have met Johnny Depp and gotten kissed by him. Lily has NOT been kissed by Professor King, who happens to look like Johnny Depp. lol.

I thought I'd try this out but I warn you all when I set out to make a character I sort of modeled it off of different people, including myself.....

*We are both fairly thin, although I'm quite a bit more muscular

*We both are having /have had struggles with making and keeping friends
*We are both secretaries for our female societies

*We are both currently having weird boy issues...
*Neither of us would still be here without the other...

*I am the equivalent of prefect while Hilary is not anymore...
*Hilary is a big plant and animal person, I am not really
*I work in a doctors office, Hilary works in Weasleys Wizarding Weezes

*Hilary still has her apendix, I have had mine removed
*I do not have an abusive step father or emo sister
