Zion Lind is the only child of Elias and Alva Lind. He had a completely normal childhood; his parents weren't terrible but they weren't great either. He had family but none he was really close to. He socialized a bit at school but never made any friends.
He was really surprised when he got his letter to Hogwarts- an extraordinary thing for an ordinary boy. He was unsure how to react to it, at least until he actually arrived at school. He was sorted into Slytherin, and his first day was certainly... interesting. He was punched in the face by Cassius Styx. Though to be fair, he was trying to hit their other roommate Henry and Zion just got in the way.
His classes were much more normal- he wasn't the best in class but he wasn't the worst either. After that his school days were normal. He wasn't really close to anyone, but he was afraid of Cassius. His other roommate, Terror Zhefarovich, noticed this, and the two struck the deal for Zion to learn how to fight from him.
Zion thought that would be the start of a friendship, but he's figured out that their arrangement won't last. He's generally just coasting by, already in third year, and his only real company are the books he surrounds himself with.
