But she supported them while hiding it from the rest of the people who knew them. Her adopted mother, an Executive Director for Manned Space Programs is a lesbian while her adopted father, a worker at the Netherlands Embassy in Russia is gay. Feeling like the world is against them, they sticked together, living like a normal family. Although it wasn't only her parents were affected with the hiding, Zhenya's moves were calculated everyday. She was taught to behave like a lady, act like one and no one's eyes will be on them including Zhenya.
Zhenya did the best she could until bits of her magical abilities were coming out. Her parents reveal more to her that she was magical as they are as well. The young girl was confused but her parents helped her to understand the other world she belonged to. They would take her and meet people with the same abilities as them and going to the magical world were it feels like the centuries had stopped for them. She was fascinated and wanted to learn more, that's when her mother started to teach her to control her magic while waiting for her to be eleven to go to a Wizarding School. Her father would teach her the History of Magic while her Aunt Kassandra teaches her about potions.
In some instances that her emotion couldn't be controlled and a few people would see her do magic, her parents would obliviate them while with the help of the magical government of Russia. On her spare time, Zhenya paints and do horseback riding and she grew older, she accepted the fact that her life wouldn't be normal without going out of the country. But her opportunity grew on her eleventh birthday as she received her school letter, a school far away from Russia as possible, hidden from everyone who are not one of them. Her parents tried their best to explain boarding school life as both of them had gone when they were younger.
Although none had been sorted before but her Aunt Kassandra who was a student at the original Hogwarts. Zhenya tried to learn more about the said school. The young girl is currently sorted into Ravenclaw and is dealing with adjusting to life inside with a divers of students.

- Sorting Ceremony Reaction: Zhenya was standing with the rest of the children her age just outside a big oak doors. The castle was as big as the Grand Kremlin Palace but not as gorgeous as the Catherine Palace with its gold hues and white and blue outside paint. But it was enough for her to stay at for the next seven years of her life. Her parents had concocted a lie that she was enrolled at a boarding school somewhere in Asia. It was hard enough to live in a country where the person you have to love was the opposite gender, let alone live and be elected on a government position for the sole purpose of change. The Russian people don't have to know that they're also witches and wizards on top of everything else. The young girl studied everyone while she dusted her new uniform. It was then the doors to the said Great Hall was opened and they all piled into two straight lines. The girl in front of her seems to be giddy and was straying off the line. Zhenya wanted to snatch her to get back in line but she held back, she thought she wasn't back at home and she can't control anyone anymore. Once the line stopped, the rest of the children also stopped. Once again, the girl in front of her was fidgeting, inching forward as the person calling the names came nearing the letter 'E' which she has as her last name. Zhenya was the type of girl who can be proper even when excited, maybe this girl needs a lesson or two on how to be a lady, she thought to herself. She rolled her eyes as the girl named Sara was called and she had to step back as the girl literally ran up to the stool. After what was like ten minutes, the girl's house was announced and they called her next. "Eindhoven, Zhenya!" Nervous, Zhenya tried to smooth her hair and straighten her uniform before walking up to the stool. She smiled warmly at the person holding the talking hat and sat on the stool. The vast wave of people in that room was like just back home when her mother would do a press conference for the Aerospace agency. This time, there were no flash of lights, just people staring at her. Zhenya felt the hat was put on her head, that's when her heartbeat started to run like a horse. Her hand started to sweat. I didn't know this initiation was though. Mama said Koldovstoretz doesn't have this and papa went to Beauxbatons which is obvious doesn't have it either. Is it hot in here? It can't be, right? I saw snow outside of the castle. She started to blabber with her thoughts, gosh! this hat is heavy or is my head just tiny? Maybe it's just me. Zhenya had to pinch herself secretly to stop talking in her head, it was her being nervous, she over thinks everything that was happening around her.
"It's probably just you, but I can sense your nerves and will assure you that this'll be over very soon. For you though I can sense a bit of a choice, it is not too difficult for me to decide between them...enjoy....Ravenclaw!" - Wand:
