Seeing that everyone was absorbed in the library, Victoria decided that going for a quick academic read was not her plan for the day. She knew that she had to read a little further into History of Magic and maybe even make an essay to garner a few points however, she wanted the day off from academics and the plain sight of professors roaming around the hallways. Victoria knew for a fact that the sight of your least favorite professor could be a massive buzz killer and seeing all the books in the library made her think she deserved a break. Of course, she thought of it wisely, that despite her grades that certainly do not aim for the stellar skies, a girl at least needed some time for leisure without thinking of anything school related - basically, anything that were a pain in the ass and gut. She ditched her schoolbag and dropped it on one of the couches in the Lions' common room, knowing that no one would even look at it considering its contents were a load of school stuff. Uninteresting.

It was a wonderful day outside, with the blanket of lush grass covering the land that held Hogwarts New Zealand upright. Vicky inhaled the fresh scent of the wind, blowing about and making everything so alive. She felt the same way too. Victoria grinned to herself, fully aware that her decision to stay here instead was a jolly good one. Although she did not plan to be completely alone per se - she brought along 2 metallic figurines that were in her hands right now, cold and lifeless to the warm air lingering in the atmosphere. It belonged to her younger brother, Luke, who sure as hell adored dueling. Vee smirked as she trudged her way to the cliffs, knowing that she will be alone there and the chance for company will be below the number zero.

It was a lot better on the cliffs, just like what Vee expected it to be. The air seemed more refreshing although it might be her imagination. The sole important thing was she felt right to be here, alone and unperturbed by school factors. She knew that if any prefects saw her here, her sorry ass will be busted. However if a particular Head Boy saw her, she knew she would get a free pass from her brother. Victoria soothed down her barely wrinkled dress before sitting herself down on the clean cut grass. She knew this place was frequented by people, since the grass seemed to be cut and cleaned for the sake of several students.

When she made sure no one followed her up, the brunette held her sibling's figurines and laid them down securely. She flourished her wand and pointed it at the two metallic and lifeless wizards. "Animare," Vicky murmured and the two little things sprung to life. They regarded one another with caution and they moved like they were about to pounce on each other. Vee giggled, imagining her little brother freaking out right now back in their massive home, searching for his beloved "toys." These two toys were precious, for they dueled each other just for their owner's pleasure. There were two types of duels for these figurines - one was the standard whilst the other was complex. The standard duel only used simple and everyday spells that did not exactly bring too much pain, however it could cause their opponent to be injured with a minor fracture. The complex duel was when they could use more complicated spells that could inflict legitimate pain onto the victim however Victoria knew that these toys were charmed so that they would never duel in the complex way. She smirked at the two toys whilst they looked up for her awaiting instructions. "Begin." The two figurines bowed at each other before they threw back spells back and forth and Vee watched with curiosity and evident interest. She noticed that they used the Stunning Spell quite a lot of times. She wanted to control first toy so that she can have fun, however she did not have a partner to control the other figurine. Currently though she watched the toys with interest, content with the kind of place she was in right now.

Tabitha had mostly given up on studying for the semester. Christmas Break was upon her, and she rationalized that she had high enough grades that even if she didn't pass the exams she would still do well. Throughout the entire semester Tabitha had been itching to explore the two places that were forbidden to students. The forests, and the cliffs. If they were forbidden there must have been a lot of cool stuff. Tabitha decided to start with the cliffs as it seemed like the rules about them were a little more relaxed. Tabitha got there as sneakily as a first year could, and started looking around. The view was amazing, but the closer she got to the edge Tabitha understood why students weren't really allowed here. The land seemed to cut off almost immediately just waiting for an unsuspecting student to fall into the rocky waters.

After she had a nice long look over the cliffs Tabitha back away, and thought about heading back. Before she did though she took one last glance around her, and noticed her wasn't alone. There was another girl there. Tabitha decided why not, and went to go see what she was up to. As she got closer she realized that the girl was a Gryffindor who was a few years older then her, and she was playing with something. This made Tabitha even more curious as it seemed like nobody else in the castle brought toys. As soon as she saw that the two figures were dueling on their own Tabitha was in love. If this was what magical toys were like she wanted some. "Hi, I'm Tabitha." she introduced herself. "Can I play with you?" she asked allowing her eyes to look up from the toys, and giving the girl a warm smile.

The wizard that Vee was rooting for was losing and she frowned as she watched them battle their wands out. Being most probably the one of those most stylishly dressed people in her year, Vee surprisingly thought of her life if ever she was blessed to be a boy instead. True, she loved being the chicest one in town and most of the time she even wanted to have the better dress than her mother's, but Victoria's curious thoughts often wandered to places where she never thought she would think about. She thought that if she were a guy, it would be acceptable for her to sit in any position she wanted whenever she was drowsy. Or if she were a guy, Vee would not get worried about time of the months and would not have to go through the same life crisis with just picking an outfit out. Also these toys were a boy's, specifically, her little brother's. Victoria just had to get it for her entertainment in Hogwarts. With sometimes no one to talk to, she had to keep herself alive.

At first there was a sound that Victoria ignored, thinking that it was probably some sort of animal or someone's pet that was wandering around. However when she heard a human voice - just not that; a girl's voice, she almost leaped to her death. It was so quiet and she dared to break the fragile silence with her voice. Vee resisted to glare and looked at her funny, like she was pulled out of the thinnest air. Immediately she recognized the girl as a Gryffindor first year and Vee honestly did not pay mind to them. She nodded her head, merely interested and sighed dramatically. "First years aren't allowed here," Vee uttered whilst turning her attention to the figurines. True, first years were not allowed on the cliffs and so were the upper years. Victoria was just doing that so she would not have to entertain the younger Gryffindor.
