Finally Aaron was able to return to school after going through all of the stress
that had been stiring in his house right now. After his older brother Drake got
into a huge argument with his father, and then Drake beating up his father,
Aaron was still in the state of shock that his older brother did this to his own
father. Little did Aaron know of the actual situation of what had been happening
in his house. Aaron's mother always protected him from harm and wouldn't
let him get involved in family matters at home, so there was not a lot he knew,
except for the fight, which the whole house could hear. Aaron was still shivering
from all of that screaming, the constant feeling of being punched and being
tossed around. The Parker family's father wasn't all that bad, or so Aaron
thought. There was not a lot that Aaron knew right now because he was one
of the youngest kids, but soon, he would find out the truth about why his
father always forced the family to move around a lot, and the whole truth
about who and what his real father is. Aaron just wished that he did not have
to experience all of this with in his own home. He thought home was safety.

Laying down a near by tree, Aaron's older sister had ran off to get something
from the store, so he was just laying there, trying to cool his mind off. It was
good for Aaron that he was able to get off of the Durmstrang campus once in
a while, because being trapped in there all the time wasn't for Aaron. With
special permission obtained by his father from the head of Durmstrang, he was
allowed to go off campus only certain times during the year, but only under
supervision. That really didn't bother Aaron, though he was already happy
enough that he was able to get off campus and away from some of the younger
girls on the campus. Sometimes, girls seemed to bug Aaron. It wasn't that he
didn't enjoy the attention from them, it was just that he could never really get
the time to himself. Wherever he would go, he would have girls running after
him, or a whole gang of them just wanting to get near Aaron. This all sickened
Aaron at times, but during other times when he did enjoy it, he enjoyed it to
the fullest. It was very easy for Aaron to lure in girls with his Veela charm,
so he would have a good time whenever he wanted when he would be in the mood.

Melanie was wandering around aimlessly for a bit. She loved that Ryan and Noemi were getting along great and that she was in a family of her own but she felt she was losing something. She was always independent, never had to rely on anyone. Being a part of this close family made her feel she was losing that. She wanted to stay in it though, so she took part in family nights and what not but, when she had a free moment, she would go out on her own.

Melanie was happy Ryan was the one that adopted her. If he hadn't she could've ended up with a more controlling person, like one of her mothers' husbands. At least she wasn't still living with the guy who had decided to kick her out. That guy was the worst of the bunch, and that was saying a lot, her mother had horrible taste in men.

As Melanie walked she thought about her mother. They hadn't had any contact at all for the past two to three years. The small girl wondered if her mother even thought about her sometimes, even cared if she was still alive. Melanie often thought about going to see her, showing her how much better she was without her or her husbands but she always chickened out.

Melanie reached one of her favorite spots around the area and frowned. There was a boy sat at her tree. He looked about her age but there was something weird about him. It was like he was a doll or something, even from where she was standing, a good few feet away, she could tell there wouldn't be any imperfections with his looks. The girl shrugged and continued walking to her tree anyway. She was small but she had learnt well from Ryan, she could take most people down with a few strikes unless they were good fighters. She doubted the pretty boy would be a fighter.

As Melanie reached him she stood over him for a second before talking. "You're in my spot." There was no malice in her voice. Normally she would demand her spot back but she didn't feel like being mean to him. She was calm today and wanted to stay that way. In the back of her mind, as she stood over the boy, she thanked Merlin she was wearing trousers today instead of a skirt.
